RE: How Do I Gain Momentum On Steemit?

in #steemit6 years ago

Yes I feel stuck posting on steemit. I have always been hoping and praying that more eyes can see my posts. Sometimes, I do not even look at the upvotes (I said sometimes), but for people to see the information contained in the posts. I therefore have to buy upvotes for the posts, maybe by then, it can attract more people.

Things will move once you start taking action and the longer you take action the more momentum you gain.

This is what I will use as my propelling force though.
I would have been posting everyday, but because I've settled to always give out quality content, which takes more time to compile, I currently post like four articles per week.

Some of my goals

  • To make technology as simple as possible and accessible to the common African man.
  • As an Electrical Engineer, I plan to use my expertise and research to solve power challenges in my country.
  • I am a man who is easily moved by others' sufferings. I therefore want to always see smiles on the face of everyone I come across. In view of this, I willingly help people rise above hunger and intimidation whenever I have the wherewithal. Steemit has really helped me to an extent to achieve this and I hope to really achieve much more with it.

Thank you @humanearl for helping us take life simple and making it better for everyone. Hope we all can make the world a better way in our individual capacities.

Buying votes can help gain more visibility and of course it can boost the value of your post. I have used voting bots before but I don't use them often.

Your goals are cool man. If you don't mind me asking. What kind of tech solutions do you have in mind for Africa?

Not actually new innovations. Just to help them all accept and be in conformity with current trends. For example, many, owing to illiteracy or fear have refused to make use of mobile or internet banking. It will shock you that some even refuse ATM cards, saying they are being cautious. These are few ones though. So if someone does not trust online banking of fiat, how do you make him explore the opportunities in the crypto-world?

Many people die of diseases and ailments that are curable orvat least manageable. They however die mostly from ignorance that they have those ailments. They can't even afford the cost of the medical test, not to talk of afford to pay for the medical procedure for a cure. This is actually a huge project, requiring lots of fund to embark on.

My goal is not creating new innovations persecution, but helping Africans measure up to the existing trends rather than always lagging behind.

One thing I am seeing with many Nigerians on Steemit is that they are building computer centers to help them make some money through Steemit.

But that's a good question as to how do you help them trust tech more.
