Pull Request Submitted - Clarifying the Witness Voting Page by Adding the @ Symbol to the Username Entry Fields
There are two places where users can manually enter usernames on the Steemit.com witness voting page:
- Voting on witnesses outside of the top 50.
- Setting a user as a proxy.
The current UI does not have an "@" symbol in front of the text fields, so it can be confusing for users.
I submitted a pull request to add the "@" symbol, so now it is clear what to enter:
It is in the same format that the "Transfer" page uses:
The pull request can be seen here:

The pull request has not been accepted yet, but I am hopeful it will pass all the reviews and be put up on the live site soon!
Remember to vote for witnesses!

Great update. Giving users more input and statistics to judge their witnesses should be on the roadmap. Although on the more complex side of the spectrum, witness selection and curation is one the most important parts of this blockchain.
