Why I am basically doing a #Steemit AMA on my personal Facebook, and why you should be to.
Don't be that person who got rich while not sharing the wealth. You all have the chance to change alot of peoples lives, therefore, you should be doing it.
All it takes is a small amount of your time to post a story to your Facebook feed, Twitter feed, Tumblr, YouTube channel or any other place you like to share with folks, it's only right. This project could and seems to be bigger than any one of us can fathom, and thus we should treat it as such.
Imagine if someone sent you a link to a beta signup for this new website called Reddit 15 years ago or so, promising that one day you would make alot of money for signing up, and you didn't, let alone you didn't bother to tell your friends, 15 years later, how would you feel?
So pass it on.
The entire premise of Steemit is to create an incentivized social media layer on top of the blockchain that also operates as a crypto onboarding project, and that is golden. For too long crypto currencies have been far too hard, far to complex, and far to nerdy. Steemit aims to change that, and that is something you should take note of and tell your friends about it, BEFORE if blows up. Spread the love!
PSA: Word of mouth is very powerful
People trust who they know, far more than anyone else in the world. That is why you need to be telling everyone you know about Steemit, hell you could even pass out a referral link at the same time! This is sure to cause massive user influx Steemit to crypto currencies overall, so what are you waiting for? I did it. Did you?

I may create a generic "Join us" post that people can post on their favorite social media platform that will encourage people to switch over to Steemit. We need to be proactive marketers of the platform. If we do not spread the word then who will? Do any of you think Facebook will post "trending" news stories about Steemit on people's feeds? LOL! Just tweeted this. One thing I didn't realize at first is that a Reddit or Facebook account is required to signup. But, people on social media usually have one of the two. Glad that you are here @thedashguy and spreading the STEEM gospel!
