I think all your reasons are valid.

We are over the 300K mark with users and it is only growing each day. I see a lot on here from third world countries since it is a way for them to earn income in amounts that can make a difference in their lives.

Steemit could well be on its way to being the most popular social media site in the future. I wrote in another post that companies affected by disruptive technology do not realize it is disruptive until things are too late. If this does happen, I foresee Steem being a very valuable coin. When you look at the market cap of Facebook, if Steemit even attains 10% of that value, the coins will be worth a lot more.
