It's funny how this issue crosses boarders and has infected what feels like the entire lot of "1st world" countries. How is it even possible that the global powers could allow such a major step backwards in human production. It isn't even about work production, it's everything. Ask someone to cook, to install a new faucet, replace an electric outlet, sew a button on a shirt, hell just iron a shirt and they just can't.
People are becoming sloths. They think because they woke up in the morning they have accomplished something. They feel their life is so busy because they cram in all sorts of unproductive activities that something was going on most of their day. They feel connected with their "friends" and family because of social media yet they don't actually talk or see them.
OK off my soap box...had to rant for a minute. Feel better now.
