Please, Stop Saying That [STEEMIT] is a Set-Up Arena for the [ELITE]

18+, no censorship. I have recently published a post based on a survey that was describing the current results of the most successful women on Steemit and faced with some unbuttressed statements about everything here being a set-up show. No, seriously? Do you really think that the system was created to feed some of the selected ones with dollar puddings and humiliate all the others who try to earn on their living? NO.

This is not the first time when I face jealousy in communities like Steemit. When I look at the trending page I do try to analyze and to understand WHY this very post trade $10,000 while mine has stopped at $30. You know, that fucking helps. Sure, I think "Oh, I'd like my post to be in the top" when I see all those high-paid posts, I do. But that is NOT JEALOUSY.

Hard work and luck - this is the only think that hinders you to submit a good post. But still many keep on claiming "oh, he is likely to be a friend of @ned and she sleeps with @dantheman". Please, shut up. Don't blame others in your defeats. Steemit is a highly unpredictable platform and if you published one post about your being awesome as hell and it got $0.02 that is not the reason for saying everything is set-up and this is a fraud. Have you invested anything in Steemit but your jealousy and envy? Hardly. Every single dollar is a result of somebody's work. Demand is the thing that breeds supply. If steemers want girls in bikini in trending - they get them. And there's nothing wrong with those girls: they do fulfill the needs of the community, they do hard work guessing what will be in demand tomorrow. If WE want diverse content - upvote, share and support. That is up to us to decide.

That is absolutely okey if you publish still one more bikini post being a new user and it does not reach the top of the mountain, that means that luck is not on your side today and maybe you should try something new. It happens that you publish two posts on the same topic and the first one gets much more than the second even though the second is much more informative and all. That is OK. Maybe your potential voters were busy at the moment or lost their network connection, there's nothing to make fuss about.

But leaving commentaries like " Geeks worship Chicks, need I say more?" and shouting out loud "All those top 5 steemit girls are somehow related to the big whales" is abominable. Do you really think that some person aimed at success will sniff like that and moan all the time? NOPE. Fucking nope.

I came to Steemit three weeks ago and I must say that the community has definitely changed. I came when the top stories earned $800 and steemers were so enthusiastic introducing themselves, sharing experience, bringing interesting and important questions for discussion. More users => more money => more competition. And unfortunately more negative emotions and jealousy. If you are so damn mean and weak that the only think you can do is to complain and blame others then BEAT IT.

So much eager to get rid of the jealousy on Steemit,

Anastasia

Great post. There has always been, and always will be, a highly unpredictable nature to what will or will not go viral on any given platform. Sure there are other factors at play in some instances, and there will always be things hitting crazy payouts that we feel might not deserve it, but when it comes down to it, the average person, who is moderately talented and creative, will be able to be successful through consistent hard work.

This jelousy is really stupid on steemit.
You really dont get paid for nothing, you get it for quality posts and replies.
It's not true that if you are a girl and post photo of yourself you will get more upvotes than other ppl.

make a video can make $30,000 everyone was going crazy so easy it is to earn money , so the idea of creativity is the key

I think you're spot on. Some people here should only be blaming themselves for posting copy-pasted stuff from elsewhere on the internet, instead of posting original and honest posts about things that they actually know!

Hard work can be unnecesary if you get Whales friends

I beg to differ. Nobody who's overwhelmed and frustrated and yes, jealous, should "beat it." It's not always a permanent situation. I sure felt it a week ago when I joined. But now I'm adjusting, seeing how intelligent commenting can make minnow money even when brilliant posts make jack. I'm learning tagging, timing and trending, and ignoring posts that just boggle my mind.

Freedom of expression also means freedom to bitch about the very system that lets you express it ;)
