This is why I am not excited about Facebook Blockchain Technology
I am a big fan of Steemit. There are tons of reasons behind it. I have introduced to Blockchain Technology through Steemit. Since then I am a big fan and promoter of Steemit. Steemit now have more than one million user. Compared to other mainstream social media platform, The number is not big enought. But the impact is huge.
Even Facebook like social media is now considering decentralized or blockchain technology. I don't believe that Facebook will be decentralized. It may introduce a new blockchain technology just to take all benefits of the technology. Though earlier this year, Mark Zuckerburg is indicated about the blockchain technology, I don't think they will bring something unique or revolutionize the system.
Steemit is already a front-runner in the decentralized industry. We have seen some criticism about steemit. But the problem they mentioned, may resolve with a hardfork. I am not sure how the developer or the witnesses think about this. I am just a minnow and love steemit. Hopefully, something great will be introduced will lead to widespread steemit adoption.
