Crypto Empire News: Expanding the Empire!
The Crypto Empire is now about one month old, but the community did a lot in this time.
Throughout this post we're going to go over some new expansions to the Empire, as well as how it has been working to empower the whole of the STEEM Ecosystem.
We'll discuss improvements that were made, projects approved, and some other stuff I find the blockchain would be interested in knowing about.
We are also going to approach how the different communities working in cooperation with the Empire have been doing, and give you an overview on some updates as well.

Empire Scaling: Here's Our Current Growth:
It all started 23 days ago, so we're only now beggining to warm up to our plan of creating a community hub that has its doors open to any other Steem based community who wishes to extend their reach and collaborate in improving the Steem Blockchain Ecosystem.
Upon the founding of the Empire, we had:
- 12 Circle Members (the Governing Body of the Empire);
- 1 Centurion
- 1 Legate
- 33 Citizens (Community Memebers);
I am proud to say we had a lot of progress in these 23 days of existence, and so far we have:
- 10 Circle Members (the Governing Body of the Empire);
- 8 Imperial Ambassadors (Leaders of Other Communities)
- 2 Centurions
- 1 Legate
- 6 Legionnaires
- 139 Citizens
So, as you can see, our numbers have been growing a lot, and we already have 8 community leaders working with us to improve the STEEM Blockchain communities, services or even blockchain and open-sourced contributions.
But that's not all, an empire is its people, but it's also its buildings.
Buildings are facilities, facilities serve a purpose, let's approach that now.
The Imperial Grounds: Meet Our Facilities!
Now, we only started our journey with what you would expect the Crypto Empire to have - a Throne Room (Community Administration Channel) - and a Tavern (Public Channel).
We've grown since then and new buildings are constantly being constructed to accomodate the growing group.
Let's approach the ones in existence so far:
The Throne Room: Decisions, Decisions...
This is where the Inner Circle meets to handle new projects, choose new communities to approach, and sometimes argues about any issue that may have popped up.
Granted our operations have only recently started, but we tend to discuss things in a healthy tone and we always reach agreements, which is nice.
So far, our core projects have been talking about the blockchain and how can we improve it, as well as trying to develop the Embassy Grounds, to reach further and help other communities to recruit from our citizens as well as our citizens to find communities they may enjoy.
The Tavern: Public Channel with a No Spam Twist
We know Steem Based communities on Discord and they have two major problems:
- SPAM;
- Begging.
We see a lot of spam for post links and even stuff you can't even decipher what is.
On the other hand, we see a lot of begging too.
The Crypto Empire takes pride in having a tavern where everyone hangs out and speaks to each other. There is no spam and those who cause it get booted by our Hired Thugs.
We don't take non-english speakers and we don't take spammers, griefers, harrassers and so on...

The Workshop: Banner Requisition
If you ever saw our community members and their posts, you'll see that there's a banner at the footer.
This is a customizable banner that everyone has the right to request on the Workshop.
Once the request is made, a manual review takes place and, if the citizen or above meets our quality guidelines, a personalized banner is made and the user can proudly display it.

Sharon's Tinkery: The Bot Maker
Sharon's Tinkery is our bot maker residence.
Tinkerers work here, especially our in-house bot maker @cryptosharon.
Her magicko-mechanical buddy Bubot is always tooting around as well.

Who knows...
Most projects are top secret, and only authorized personnel has clearance, but once you're in, you'll figure she don't just stores her papers around and it is all a huge testing ground with craters.
Now, we'll get in the interesting buildings, community embassies.
We're also giving you an update on how the community is developing.
Community Embassies: Here's an Update on The Project
Now, let's go over the various communities that were built in the Empire already.
We're also going to take a look at them individually, as each is their building, each has their ambassadors, and each represents a community, project or service that has decided to cooperate with the Empire on improving the community transparency and collaboration on the Blockchain.
We have some interesting communities aboard, so let's take a look at those.
SmartSteem Embassy Update:
SmartSteem was our first embassy, as @therealwolf saw value in cooperating with us, and we saw that the community could now have a place to interact with one of the blockchain's best voting bot providers.
The Embassy has been running this month, and the chatter on its halls has many forms.
Some people seek it to inquire about smartsteem.com's services, others have doubts about how the votes are distributed and calculated.
Some others want to hasten or ask about their whitelisting process and more.
News and updates are also being fixed up in posters in the embassy's hall.
Bumper Embassy Update:
Bumper is a minnow-friendly bot that is among the most profitable ones in the blockchain.
It's bidding limits are small, but its heart is large. The two ambassadors @gyzimo and @swolesome.
During this month, its embassy has been bustling with activity and they are trying to use it not only to clarify their intentions but also to get closer to the community.
They are doing this by trying to improve their features and asking for people's opinions to ensure the community gets exactly what it needs.
Don't get tricked by the fact the bids start and end low, as this is certainly a project we see becoming big.
SteemitBC Embassy Update:
SteemitBC, where the BC stands for Blogger's Central, is a project by @paulag and @rt395 that aims to give bloggers a home.
Their community of over 700 members is open to anyone who wants to create their own channels so they can talk with their following or just hang out.
They are kind of like a community incubator, and though it can be hard to understand at first, that's what the embassy is there to do, explain and clear any doubts citizens may be having, as well as opening up to give them their first home.
@RT395, the Ambassador, has also been involved in meetups and events, being the Japanese Crypto Night the last of those.
The SteemitBC Embassy also had a billboard there for everyone interested in the event to go... heck, @rt395 even offered up entries.
The STEEM Engine Embassy Update:
The STEEM Engine, the curation community that people just love, has its embassy running full Steem ahead!
Its ambassadors are @catweasel and @enchantedspirit, and they have an eye for quality content.
I'm proud to say that during this month they have recruited a lot of new members for their community from our Imperial grounds, and tons of users have found their way to a community that welcomes them here through this embassy's reach.
I hope they continue with their good work and rewarding those authors who go the extra mile to add value to the blockchain in the form of kickass good content!
Steem Silver Gold Embassy Update:
This embassy is for one of the Blockchain's most tight community and it shows.
Where the other communities focus, these guys just casually banter.
Unlike the others who have the ambassadors and that's it, these guys made their embassy one of their homes, as the #steemsilvergold Ambassador @phelimint got them on board to the Empire to meet new people, new communities and expand their horizons.
One of the most casual-hearted embassies, if you like partying but stacking gold is your thing, then avoid the tavern and knock on the Steem Silver Gold embassy instead.
Slothicorn Embassy Update:
Slothicorn is a community that recruits talented people... what started out as a crypto art project, evolved into something more complex.
Nowadays, @stellabelle 's project houses a lot of great artists and talented people, and they have their embassy in their Empire, represented by Ambassador @InquiringTimes.
True, they have been recruiting new members from our midst, but better than that, our people got to know them better.
This is what the Crypto Empire is all about, cooperation, and communities working together to the betterment of the whole ecosystem.
By knowing them better, we have been sending countless artists their way, through comments on posts of talented people we find, and we are sure they will welcome them with open arms.
New Embassy: MinnowBootCamp Community
MinnowBootCamp started with @underground and @spiritualmax thinking about a community empowering project.
Over time, @underground started working hard to make it happen, and he recruited some of the Empire's Inner Circle to work there with him.
Of course, as an Inner Circle member, we supported him and his project in any way.
I'm proud to say every high ranking individual from Crypto Empire is now working at the MinnowBootCamp stations as well.
This embassy is a new one, and it was just built.
Welcome my friend Ambassador @Underground.

Crypto Emissaries: Messengers At Work!
We are currently approaching communities whom we think would be of value to our users and that could also benefit from having a presence in the Empire.
As such, we are talking with community leaders and this section is just to let you know how we stand.
Transparency, open-ledger, this is all something we practice and preach.
As of now, we've sent two messengers to contact two communities.
We are currently sending a messenger to P.A.L. Network. Our messenger has already reached @aggroed and we wait for his reply.
On the other hand, another messenger is also being instructed to contact #newbieresteemday.
And so here's our update. We hope you now know more about the Empire and those who work with us, and that you feel enticed not only to join, but also to actively participate!

Even for myself it feels like it has been more than a month, but in a good way. Ive grown to like everyone in the Empire and I am learning a lot from you all as well. Huge thanks to everyone. And thank you @spiritualmax for creating such a place. I wouldn't be where I am today without it.

I'm mighty proud being a legionnaire of the Empire! It is the very open nature that prompted me to love the community.

Its been nice to see the Empire grow since the beginning when all we had was the Emperor and the Guard! Then we started getting so many new citizens, its now almost impossible to keep up with everything that its going on!
