Writing Steemit Articles.

When it comes to writing a great article, whether on Steemit, your blog or website, the important thing to remember is that good quality, unique content is key.
Before writing your article, think about the subject, if it is something that is technical or something that you are unsure of, then do your research first. The internet provides a great wealth of information at your fingertips. But whatever you do, never copy other people's work. If you are to quote someone, make sure they get credit for it. Occasionally you may require specific information written by someone else, you may need to request permission to use this.

Once you have done your research, understand your subject, keep your article informative, try not to digress into other subjects (You can always write a further article on a similar subject and link it back.)

It is always great to add a photo, if you are not using one of your own, make sure you give credit to the source of the photo, and again, be sure you have permission to use that photo in your article.

Deciding on a Standard or Cornerstone Article.

For a standard article I suggest writing around 350 words and including one photo, for bigger articles you can either split them into several parts, or if you prefer write a cornerstone article of around 1000 words, if you are doing this I suggest including 2 or 3 photos.
The real bottom line to writing a great article is good quality, unique content, free of spelling mistakes and one that makes interesting reading.
