Fellow Steemers,

Great news for me, maybe a bit less good for you guys but I wanted to share with you guy's I got accepted for mechanical engineer in the automotive industry here close to Bonn Germany.

And that makes Germany the fourth country in the world where I actually found a job lived for a decent time and going to work for a decent time.

Before this I worked in New Zealand ) diary farming, milking cow and drive the tractors ;).
In Australia a whole bunch of different jobs, starting as a deck hand and onboard mechanic on the Soren Larsen see picture underneath.

Just a random picture from the Soren Larsen I found on Google.

And some different kind of farm job like; picking apples and pruning whine plants, worked in the construction as well for a while.
Before that I Lived my ''normal'' life in Holland.....

Tomorrow I actually planned to do the next update of my traveling and yes the job on the sailing ship The Soren Larsen is gonna be in it.
Further more I hope to go to the 100+ followers tomorrow so please help me out and do some Resteem and up-voting if you don't mind :D

Thanks a lot for all the people that are willing to help me out and are interested in the things I'm posting and ofc. gonna post :D

Keep Steemin and be safe

today I got accepted for an engineerings job in the automotive industry ;)

anyway I like the comment

^_^

Bonn is a lovely city! :)

sure it is :)

What is the primary purpose of the Soren Larsen? I have heard of the use of sailing vessels for transporting goods and was curious if that might be the case with her. Do you know when the boat was built. Thanks for the post. I always enjoy hearing about sailing vessels.

hey there thanks for the reply, and I gonna do this without Wiki or what so ever. So not sure if I'll tell you it a correctly but google knows all after all ;)

Back in the day's when it was still in use I believe it first was a cargo vessel. Don't know what kind of cargo, but after is was out of the job it became a sailing vessel for the movie industry. They used in the series of the Onedin Line Which I never saw but my dad loved it ;)

After it served the white screens I think a private company/person bought it and made long time sailing trips all over the world for people to experience the sea man's life.
And slowly out of this life it became a tourist attraction for short trips. At the moment it's laying/sailing around Sidney there is also the place where I worked on this ship.

It was build shortly after the second world war so its a ship with history marks. Tomorrow I'll put my pictures of this experience online here

Ok, thank you so much for the extra info - will follow to see more when you post more!

Congratulations mate! This sounds really good! I'm happy for you :)

Thanks man :)

Do you mind sharing where you're gonna start working? Car manufacturer or supplier?
Curious about the sailing ship. Followed!

I don't mind at all ;) just wont tell the name of the company.

I Actually applied for a Job for as technical drafts man (basically making 2D drawings) but later on in the interview we some how ended up talking about the mechanical engineering job and that is also what I studied for back in Holland. And in the end of the interview I got accepted for this job instead :D

Its a company that makes machinery for the automotive industry and than machines that handle molded plastic parts. For example cutting edged of the part or welding other part on the main body. And they put a lot of interest in the automation of their machinery they are making. From what I saw today a nice mid-high tech company .

Thanks for the post, and keep watching for the next update about my sailing experience

Cool pic and great comment. Now followed and upvoted
