So I can start talking with your bot, and I can be sure that your bot will never miss one of my posts!? But I don't write for bots... I write for real people, I want to help people and to spread the word about things I find important for others to know... Hmm maybe I shouldn't have replied on this post then? :P

I don't use a votebot because I only want to upvote stuff I read and enjoy. The only exception is when I upvote stuff to counter flag abuse.
I did find 3 quality people to follow, plus collected a few more in their blog posts.
So All was not wasted.
I'll go back to being more particular with my following, As I've made a few poor choices already when starting. But they are easy to scroll past :-)
I'm only experimenting with a bot to overview it in a week or 2, But my weight is not enough to make a huge difference to anyone's life today, Tomorrow I Hope?
You were by far the best response and win the vote bot prize. Till I make a decision on continued use or not.

P.S. Whatever the bot votes on, will be the first thing I read in the morning. Or else how can I make a decent assesment of it's Value.
I've had the night to think, plus great responses like yours. But will try it for a week or 2.
This post is a piss poor example of how I find people to follow.
I'm never random, but find good content on topics I enjoy.
So I'm trying a couple heavy hitters ( even off topic ) and a few bloggers that put out consistently good blogs that are all worth reading.
The bot gives me a list of everything voted on, And that will be were I start my day. Because I love responses and commenting. The coin is exciting too, but secondary to my contacts.
I'm making face to face contacts already and plans to meet many more in Panama.
Now I'm not going to miss reading anyone on my hit list, even if they post a minute after I go to bed.
Hope you can see my point :-)
