Moneymetals Exchange Will Only Take Bitpay!
I am not paying 200 bucks in transfer fees!
This is bullshit!
Every bullion seller all of a sudden as of last week wants 200 bucks in transfer fees to buy somthing?
This is bullshit!
why even say you take bitcoin as a payment if you are going to try to charge me a 200 dollar fee to transfer money to you because of the wallet you are forcing me to use?
I will not pay 200 bucks in fees to buy 190 dollars worth of silver!
Did bitpay talk some sweet shit to all the gold sellers or something? "only take bit pay and you wont lose a cent, we will try to charge your buyers with a 200 dollar fee but look away, the fee you are looking for is not here, the fee you are looking for is not here.
smfh
Can we no longer buy silver or gold with bitcoin without a 200 dollar transfer fees (because of bitpay) as of the last week?
P.S.
It cost me 13 bucks to send 200 bucks in under 20min in transfer fees, how can they claim its a minimun off 200 bucks for any transfer?
At the recommendation of @thedamus, I went over to silvergoldbull.com.
They take Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Dash....straight up....no BitPay bullsh#%.
Yup, they used to only use bitpay I think, but they got smart about it.
I just started filling out an order with them. when i got to the payment section i was hit with this.
so they might require photo id and stuff?
if not comfirmed withing 10 min they might charge me more? so a 12 minin transfer might cost me extra fees after i already sent the money? at that point im locked in as they wont sent the bitcoin back.
:/
isnt my address good enough?
So i guess when i buy from them i risk the chance of them waiting till they contact me for pictures and shit and hope the price of silver doesnt change?
:/
im sorry if im coming off as an ass im just getting sick of all the new shit people are pulling. i just want to buy and be left alone.
lol
Its the best thing i have come across sence this new change for bullion sites wanting bitpay but im not sure if this is any better with a warrining that they might need photos and shit to be able to recieve soething i have already paid for.
fuk it i guess, already lost 200 with jwbullion might as well try this right?
will post how my experience goes. if this works without bs i will continue to buy from them.
thank you for the info, every other site i went to wants bitpay.
:/
I made 2 purchases from them so far and they did not ask me for my ID. I assume they only do that if you are making large dollar purchases (e.g. in excess of $10,000).
Also, if you do not confirm within 10 minutes, the transaction is cancelled. That's just because within 10 minutes, both the price of bullion and the price of cryptos can fluctuate.
Good luck.
on confromation or 3 or how many?
i have no problem making my transfer fee 20 bucks if one confromation considers it closed on price but if they want like 10 confromations in 10min thats insane.
It all comes down to the number of confromations they want withing an amount of time.
i understand price changes and stuff but im not going to deal with this 5min time limit and you have to fill out our forms while time runs out shit.
i filled out all the info, just want the adress to send the bitcoins to. im not trying to wait till price dropps or anything, just dont wanna send it and 30 min later get an invoice that i owe 16 bucks and it can only be paid by credit card like jwbullion did to me.
they pulled a "sorry we cant refunt the money but if you pay this balance" type bullshit. no the price didnt jump up 16 bucks they just wanted to make some extra money as the price of bitcoin at the time actually went up 2k per coin.
On silvergoldbull.com, I paid in Bitcoin Cash. Transaction was lightning fast and transaction fee was $0.03.
Oh wow thats badass, maybe next time ill transfer some btc into bch to spend. The bitcoin transfer was actually really quick. had 2 confromations in less then 10min. pluss i just sent it out of my bittrex account so all i had to pay was their withdraw fee that they charge no matter what. so transfer fee was the same as if i was just sending to my main bitcoin wallet. :D
Idk if bittrex has a withdraw fee on bch like they do btc. gotta be less of a cost then bitcoin though.
:D
Right after making my order on silvergoldbull i seen the 10oz at spot price deal. Same thing i did with jwbullion, didnt see the sale till after i ordered. lol
Next buy will be a 10oz bar, might order it today even.
lol
Cheers and thank you again for all your help!
You know what is funny, that when bitcoin lunched a bit feature was low fees to transfer huge amount of money unlike the banks, and now you need $200 fee to make a $200 purchase, history is so funny somethings.
Its like it keeps repeting itself.
:D

Bitpay is rediculous. I have a small amount in my wallet that I can't get out, because of the fees.
i found out how to get money out of the wallet.
:O
idk what you consider a small amount but i got my money out and it cost me like 4 bucks in transfer fees. you just have to manapulate bitpay.
You got your original wallet to send it back to? if its more then 5 bucks i can tell you how to get it out, bitpay might not like it as customer service says you cant but you can.
lol
Let me know i can post a walk through for u of how to get ur money out of thet scam sht.
Yeah, I have like 5 bucks in there I think.
well 5 bucks might not be worth the hastle but you can get like a buck out of that.
lol
i still got 3.89 in my bitpay wallet now.
if i could kick the bitpay guy in the nutz i would but i cant so ill just kick rocks.
:D
Definitely that's what sucks to buy any other coin they charge a lot of commission... @skeptic please suggest me some currency exchange through which i can easily buy ada at lowest brokerage
For coin exchanges i dont know much. i have only used bittrex and they just raised their fees.
sorry, im stupid noob with the crypto game.
lol
