Yea he's pretty big and your correct he is a boss relatively early in the game that gave me a ton of trouble.

Dark souls and a tower I know only too well, I also like the fact you can see the other tower in the distance.
wait you can go that tower in distance also in dark souls
Yeah it's cool right, but you dont find out you can get into the distant tower until later in the game.

If you look on top of the door-way ahead there is a dragon above it.

Basically yes if your not too careful that dragon can burn your easily with it's fire breath.

Well firstly is the strange purple in colour and it looks like they are carrying a hallow or something.

Your right it's probably, it's how the image was captured that give's it that carry illusion.
Very scary looking guy but unfortunately one of the easier bosses to beat.

I feel people go over board with with how difficult the dark souls game actually is sometimes including bosses.

I think if people actually took time to level-up and pick their gear wisely for each boss and areas than yes it would make the experience easier for them.
