MINDS VS STEEMIT: THE SOCIAL MEDIA EXODUS

in #steemit7 years ago

With the pillars of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Reddit) crumbling at the base due to censorship, FakeNews scandals, shadow banning, selective timeline aggregation, and the like (!), a vacuum has been created for the most controversial voices on the Internet to find new, censorship resistant, free-speech-oriented platforms to voice their views.

Enter: Gab.ai, Minds.com, and Steemit.com

This video will pit Minds vs Steemit in a comparative head-to-head, and also discuss the effects of this Exodus and how to utilize these new mediums to boost your own exposure and maximize your money-making potential!

Have you checked out busy.org yet? It's a more appealing look to Steemit. You already have an account there, you should check it out.

I'll head over there un momento

@shayne

It is still a bit clunky. It is in beta.

So is Steemit :)

Well, isn't steemit in beta, too... technically? I like the utility: reminds me of old journaling websites that I used back in the day.

Very Solid Info!!! Clever of you Shayne to piggyback. Not mad at you. I like steemit because of its security using keys instead of regular login passwords. Downside I guess not user friendly to the masses. Glad you test drove the MINDS platform for everyone to be better informed. Your LTC I believe will be a good call. You know me, THIRDS RULE.

There's a lot that I like about steemit: powerful blogging tool, innovative monitory incentive system. But in terms of reach, it sorely lacks. Minds is the exact opposite: you can quantify your reach with their points system, which you can easily accumulate through simple use of the site, and boost any of your content to no end. Combining the two has been proving quite effective and lucrative. I plan on making an average of $30/post here within the next 30 days.

This post has been ranked within the top 80 most undervalued posts in the first half of Feb 11. We estimate that this post is undervalued by $2.73 as compared to a scenario in which every voter had an equal say.
