Games For Steemit
Hey, one-and-all.
So I'm rounding up my time at the Code Fellows coding program.
I'll be actively looking for work soon but while I'm doing that I will be working on other projects to develop my skills and further refine my knowledge and abilities.
One of the things I was thinking of doing was to develop simple games for Steemit users using the Steemit API. As of now these would be simple games with fun little graphics that you could play on your desktop or mobile device, but if things go well this could scale to include more complex projects. You could log in with your Steemit account and challenge your friends to matches of various different kinds of games, or whatever.
What do you guys think?

This is a great idea i think.. do you know where are the limits? I also created some little games - surely not on steemit..
I do not know the limits, but I have many thoughts on how to scale. The idea literally stirred up in my head a few moments before posting this.
its brilliant. imagine being able to win steem by beating other peoples high scores, or betting with other players . a simple VS game for a winner to take the pot would be SO FUN

The idea seems great. Some time ago there was a social network of video games its name was OMGPOP.COM, it was a Facebook that was full of video games similar to classics, like Mario Kart, Tetris and others. With other names clear, you could challenge your friends to a game and even other players. It was a fantastic idea until I closed.
Already the page does not exist and there are now similar attempts but do not reach the quality of omgpop.

I think this could be a game changer (pun intended). You could play your favorite browser game and earn money. Or you fight with your friends over upvotes. There are so many interesting ideas to try out.

Indeed. I've been running over how many different ways such an idea could grow. One of the best things about it is how scalable it is: I could start doing this right now! (although, it would be smarter to start once I'm done with school -- I'm super busy already!)
