Facebook Shuts down Steemit Blogger Central a Second Day in a Row!!!!!
DAY TWO AND WE ARE SHUT DOWN FROM LINKING TO STEEMIT ARTICLES
My friends this is about to become a huge fight and war...my project Steemit Blogger Central is being apparently sized out by Facebook and my own personal account from posting to any Steemit related content. Yesterday I thought maybe this was just a fluke and it would return. Today I woke up and I was aloud again to post for the Steemit users in my SLACK and those that share articles for RESTEEMS. Well...3 posts went off without a hitch and then bam out of the blue I can't get any links to show up when I attach the http://steemit.com address in them. All other links are fine but when it comes to steemit related, nothing...just a generic link, no article connection and goes to a 504 forbidden link.
I am unsure what to do for my growing crowd other than keep trying to contact them or we move onto broader avenues. Our Twitter works fine and growing huge there. I will do what I can for you guys here but this is looking like a targeted hit on my personal account to all the pages I run from there, none of my other pages work either when it comes to Steemit.
If anyone out there has this issue or a workaround I can implement please let me know. I think they are onto me about the push to pull people from their site and help Steemit users connect to each other. The war on social media is beginning, may Steemit reign in the end!!!!

Facebook doesn't want steemit to grow because it can and will overtake them
I agree, but it ends with them taking your lively hood and mine lol. The fight in me is growing so I am about to sit down with a few pieces of paper later today when I am free and plot an outline for a hub center for SBC. Forums, attach the slack, and use FB to promote the hub. Maybe I can get you guys a featured section for RESTEEMs...I think its time I take this to a more hubbed up center to empower this community and make it organized so we can push the hard workers in Steemit to the world more easily.

I plan to start outlining a website but for the time being if we can get people to the slack so it helps you guys more and them...that would be a huge help.

Great post, very original and glad to see your enjoying Steemit. I may just walk fully out of Facebook, tried to use it to help here but I may have to think outside the box at this stage and rule out FB completely. Thank you for that humorous but make sense share of your post. Followed you, I like frogs so we will be fast friends lol.
Hey Steve... that's a very Good Idea... create a movement to LEAVE Facebook... but maybe You should offer a better alternative at the same time, perhaps.

I am starting to think a full website for this going to need to happen at some stage, just use the facebook for promoting that hub and let the article resteems happen on there somehow. I may make a post to get people involved more and tinker more with ideas because this FB junk is going no where. The Twitter though that thing is driving in outsiders like crazy and never gave me an issue so far. So maybe I need to hover above this project and look at a bigger picture to do something unique
There is an ongoing & Growing amount of ANGER & Frustration towards Facebook...
IF You can figure out a way to organize & direct those feelings towards a new place to Go & Grow... then You could prosper handsomely.
Give it some time to percolate... ask 4 Guidance... I'm sure once You figure out a positive direction to lead People that are FED Up with Facebook, You will be an incredible success.
Perhaps LinkedIn & Steemit combined would fill some of the needs of previous Facebook people... I don't have as much experience as You, so I'm not sure.

I feel for the Winklevoss twins on that one and for the failing of their ETF in Bitcoin...they still are filthy rich but seems whenever they get an idea its smashed and sucks to see that seeing their ideas so far been on point and worthy. I also think Zuckerberg not only stole from them but also Myspace. Myspace was the original and more transparent than FB, but in came FB and totally destroyed Myspace and seems the unforgotten founder of social media. Myspace wasn't perfect but they were up front about their ad campaign tactics and were more in touch with users. Now they linger just barely alive due to everyone abandoning ship...kind of miss those days lol.
I will give this great thought and react when I have nailed down all aspects of what will benefit Steemit users the most. I may even try to contact the core team in Steemit, see what is cool to do and not, explain my project. I rather get some go ahead and more inside advise on how they view us users creating larger scaled side projects under the guise of Steemit brands...its only fair to go that route first to be sure I am not stepping on toes and they welcome the ideals I got here for those backing my projects

Their censorship might seriously backfire. Word will get out and when people start to realize Facebook doesn't want it to come out it will become more attractive hehe...
I agree, people always gravitate to the things that corporations fear, tells them there is something unique about them. They will keep doing it but honestly I wil just figure a bigger way to do this around them is all. Just frustrating but not the end of anything

They might lol. I been slamming 100s of Steemit posts a day through my project on Facebook and Twitter. I think they are onto my plans to use them to grow us lol.

I appreciate that. Yea this is still young, we are only working on week 3 of being live actually lol. But I worked in marketing and sure I can get this going further, well as long as FB there chills out lol. Let me know further what you think, actually debating on a full website for this, who knows maybe even a youtube show spotlighting bloggers here
Well - look at it this way - you have certainly scared Facebook. There are others like @JerryBanfield advertising on facebook with paid ads to get people to Steemit. What is happening with him?
Not sure, I have run a small ad campaign and that came with no issues during that period lol...figures all about the money. I literally now can't even get into the page, its like they are nipping at me or my account is having a weird issue lol. I seen this before though, I also run a very popular horror fan community on FB and we have been attacked a lot the last decade for censorship reasons, and I carry one of the more tame pages in that area. It could even stem on that side, because I did make a profile here for that and been resteeming articles from here to that one as well. Maybe time to think bigger is all, website or something so I have a safe house for my work and mini community growing

The FB thing is more or less an annoyance...not really a big deal for me its more the people I help that I feel bad for about that one. Can't wait to see what he does, did read some of his previous posts and has a real talent for writing

I really appreciate that support. I am not giving up lol...but at the moment I can't even get into that page, guessing its still live though? Your seeing it? I think its due to excessive resteems and they are limiting me. How FB rolls I guess, they want me to pay to play kind of thing. Check out that SLACK link here, we have a chat site with a bunch of people sharing articles and connecting, seems to help others grow and connect in Steemit. In the meantime I will sort out a way to expand, maybe make FB obsolete in our usage to help everyone but man has it been a pain the last few days lol I followed you back by the way
