Steemit should have Branded Content. They will bring in the Big Billions to the Reward Pool
The best way for steam to grow fast is to introduce branded content.
All brands have huge marketing budgets. It runs literally into billions of dollars.
Currently that pie is shared by the Traditional Media and Internet Platforms like google youtube and facebook.
The companies pay these guys so that they can get you to watch their content. It is you who is getting bothered by the constant noise of ads. But its someone else who is earning of it.
Now there is no disputing the value these platforms bring to our daily lives and its perfectly ok for them to earn to keep the operation running and earn profits in the process. But the thing to remember is that its also the billions of viewers and users that actually create value.
That Value must be Shared !
And now for the first time we have a platform that can actually be used for that ! A combination of youtube, blogging, live streaming and networking all in one place, monitized to ensure all are rewarded !
Brands can bring in the Big money. They Buy Steem and Set up various interactions which help people participate, watch videos , see events and earn serious Steem.
I did suggest Steemit to some of my clients . Unfortunately most of them don't even know about the platform
Can we even imagine what can happen if all the platforms like steemit dlive and dtube started getting active interest from the marketing budgets of the blue chip companies ?!
Its going to be raining money !

This idea actually concerns me. Imagine Coca Cola and all it's subsidiaries creating Steem accounts and proceeding to upvote each other to trending continuously. Steem would not be as interesting if too much corporate interest takes over. We want Steem to be a beautiful mural. Not a billboard. That's just my two cents. Err 0.002 SBD I mean. :P
I agree. Perhaps we can create best practises. Brands don't cross vote or Post more than 10 a day etc. Since there is no way to enforce it . If brands break those rules typically like a twitter Spat nastly comments and downvotes start appearing .....its not 100& frozen...i am still working on the model. I did suggest this platform to some of my clients . Most of them have not heard if it. Also its not really caught on in India. Will take a while. But i can see a Very good Lucrative future for both Brands and Users :)
Good idea but I think that because Steemit is not intended to promote business the idea may be incompatible at this stage. However, there ought to be a rethink to boost the reward pool as you pointed out for the benefit of all.

It does seem like a great idea! However, we must figure out how can we prevent corporations from taking over. Just like @anthonyadavisii said! but there's great potential indeed!
Some popular Best Practises and A Nice Security in SP in a separate account to prevent misbehaviour :P
This may bring in big bucks, however, for sure they will try to apply their business strategies in up voting their own post using different accounts.
