I came to STEEMIT for No Censorship and Money, I found both and so much more.
Yo STEEMIT fam! Honesty!
Its been 3/4 weeks, 350 followers, 1000's of posts and I can't get enough.
I came here by recommendation of @trevonjb from his youtube videos. Whats intrigued me?
People aren't getting banned and censored like on Facebook, instagram, twitter, etc. It was a free community of truth, opinions, realness, and advice. Plus you could make money.... my hustler mindset sent me into overdrive to get here.
I got on here as quick I could with the sound of a supportive and positive community that you could voice your opinion on and create income in the form of STEEM and Steem bucks.
I keep referencing the money because it was all about that in the beginning, but now thats not what keeps me here. The community of support is huge! I have came across and "meet" a lot of great people in here, that know a lot about a lot!
I came to talk about and go over cryptocurrency because thats what I am interested in and why I came in the first place, but now with so many topics and so much going on its great to explore everything.
I could go on and on with what I have learned, seen, commented on, upvoted, resteemed, etc but you guys get the point.
Just wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to my positive and awesome experience here, much love and success to you all and keep on STEEMing!

You can do it! Do what you like. You won't get anything out of life not doing that! Just keep concentrating on what you think you like. Make the world see that you are welcomed to the idea of freely sharing your ideas and interests. That should not be censored if you don't want it to be.

I think it has to do with the social scalability. There is an incentive to provide valuable content plus to me it is amazing how everyone here helps each other with questions you may have whether we are quote on quote friends or not.
There was another social network called TSU, I don't know if you heard about it and ended up going dark. I gave it a try but most of the post there didn't seem to be quality posts like you find here plus it was not decentralized and not searchable by search engines I think.
Let's hope the steemit community keeps growing to increase valuable content.
It will flourish more and more everyday and keep picking up steem! :)
I'm like you. Just want to grow. So many ideas to share. And what a community we have. This platform is amazing. It is so addicting once you get into it. It's just Steem Power all the way. Never mind when this Steem gets to $10.00 Insane just thinking about it. Position yourself and let the chips fall as they may...
Amen to that, agree 100%, I'm about helping people because in turn your following grows and the upvotes come, is about focusing on the right thing.

Sounds like things have been going really well! It truly can be hard for people to stick with it at SteemIt when they first start here. It can really be slow going if you aren't popular outside of this platform. However, it looks like you have the right outlook already. Keep up the great work and it'll only get better the longer you are here!
Thanks so much @dzboston33 ! In my opinion with STEEMIT in the beginning it takes times, and effort. you cant spam crap, you need to put in the time and read posts and comments and reply. Luckily for me I own multiple corporations and work from home, so I can tab back and forth to STEEMIT and post and comment a lot, much love and success to you !
That is awesome. I work away from home as a teacher so I'm typically home pretty early. Even so, I spend so much time with lesson planning and such that I don't get to spend nearly as much time here as I would like to.
Yeah i think is hard with a big schedule like that kudos for working with the kiddos!
