Downvoting related question
Almost six months on Steemit and I've never been downvoted...until today.
No damage done, except my ego. Then I remembered that lately some new accounts appeared and they downvote everyone's posts.
What is their final purpose? They do not have enough power to cause any real damage...I hope. Creating a mass hysteria? Again, little chance. Then what?

You're not alone desu~ I've been a victim myself. There are some troll out there with nothing better to do. Fortunately, steemit.inc are already disabling some of these accounts so just ignore them for the moment, they'll be gone soon.

It is good that someone is looking into this matter. Hopefully the issue will be solved soon and no one else will suffer.

The same with me. I am downvoted by sadkitten who says he downvotes everyone who does too much self-upvotes.
I'm not voting my posts so this does not apply in my case.
There must be something behind these downvotes from new accounts. But I fail to see what. Hence my post.
Luckily there is no damage. Just hurt ego. 🙂
I had the same experience about a week ago, had a post about it with a bunch of comments.
I saw that post. This is why I was not very worried today. Just pissed off. Some people should get a life.

Again? Pfff...what if we downvote those accounts? I know that Steemit are working on shutting them down and I was wondering if we could help.
It would be nice if these accounts could be shut down! Yes, downvoting wouldn't lower their reputation but also lower our voting power.
