T-11 hours and counting

• Activate orbiter’s fuel cells
• Clear the blast danger area of all nonessential personnel
• Switch the orbiter’s purge air to gaseous nitrogen

T-6 hours and counting

• Finish filling the external tank with its flight load of liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen propellants.

T-3 hours and holding

• External tank loading enters stable replenish
• Final inspection team proceeds to launch pad to conduct a detailed analysis of the vehicle as the team walks up and down the entire launch.
• Flight crew weather briefing

T-3 hours and counting

• Crew departs for the launch pad and, upon arrival at the pad begins entry into the orbiter via the White Room
• Complete closeout preparation in the launch pad’s White Room

T-9 minutes and counting

• Start automatic ground launcher sequencer
• Retract orbiter access arm
• Crew members close and lock their visors (T-2minutes, 0 seconds)
• Ground launch sequencer is a go for auto sequence(T-31seconds)
• Main engine start (T-6.6 seconds)

All strapped in as I brace for the rapid forward thrust of lift-off.

T-0

• Solid rocket booster ignition and liftoff

The liftoff takes my breath away.

I hold on tightly, grasping the arms of the chair as if this chair is my savior I hold on for dear life. It’s not like I have not done this at least 20 times before. Yet I hate the liftoff, it burrows into the pit of my stomach and waves of nausea overtake me.

During this time I think about what I love, who I like and who likes me, nothing else gets in my mental.
This is followed by a period of silence until we reach the outer realms of earth’s atmosphere,
And if you add in this awe-inspiring backdrop I am peering at, out the window, that is the beauty and vastness of space, it just makes the trip complete. This is a priceless sight to behold.

If I had to put it in words, I would coin it a galactical opera. It unfolds before my eyes in all its uniqueness.

It never compromises, never. It is an entity, that knows that it is and will always be more than enough.
And those that are fortunate enough to see what I see can only be a witness who stands as grasshoppers before giants. And if you stare all day you will still only take away just a minute piece of this infinite magnitude, a gazillion realms of unknown origins, that we call space.

As I soar through space, memories rush back to my beginnings with Steemit, and the incredible experiences that carried me from a minnow to a whale and now I have landed here in my dream job that I went to school for. And to be able to marry that with the Steemit Market and invest in all sorts of ways, opening doors that I never imagined is indeed a dream come true.

I am loving this 25- day space break before we arrive at the Triton Moon Colony. I am ready to engage my mind.

As I pull out my chess board, I remind myself that the companies that reigned supreme in cryptocurrencies this week get to face off on the board. Once again those being Steemit, and TwiceGoldCoin. I like it when these guys rule the week because they don’t change the moving rules. I like still have a soft spot for the old world earth and the way we use to play chess.

Ok, loading the app, ..I am playing with the android CH17, so here we go. “Hello, Kenyon glad to be your opponent in white as TwiceGoldCoin. I believe if memory serves me correctly, Kenyon it’s your move”, said CH17.
“Absolutely CH17.”
After deep contemplation and the thought, ‘this is a delicious paradoxical move in the black,’. I put my strategy into action, bishop to F5……"CH17, shall we dance?"
