Top 5 Reasons People Fail On Steemit :( Or Avoid These Mistakes to Rock in Steemit)

in #steemit7 years ago

People join Steemit because of its excellent scheme to reward the content creators, unlike Facebook. Bloggers and Vloggers who are not good at SEO and others factors to rank a website in Google but can give awesome content can join these platform. Steemit doesn't need any kind of SEO or other complicated stuff. It just wants good content.

If you explored the platform, you might have seen some people are earning enough rewards that they can fulfil their dreams. And at the same time, there are some people who are getting a few bucks. But do you ever wondered why some are getting the most out of the platform.

And some are dying to get 1$. It is just because they are doing something they shouldn't do.

But is it effortless to earn from Steemit?
The answer is No.

It's not very hard to get rewards from Steemit but not very easy too. If you have good content with you trust me, nobody can stop you from getting rewards or if you have crap content trust me nobody can help you earn some bucks.

As you already got to know about the article from the title of the post and if you follow them you will not make the same mistake, many steemians do on this platform.

You may be thinking why I am writing this post?

I am writing this post just to aware you about the mistakes many steemians do (including me).

I have joined this platform, and I got many things from this platform, but in return, I haven't given anything in return that's why I am giving some good content creator to the platform in the form of you. This platform has changed lives of many. This platform helped thousands of people in its beta stage. Just think for a second how cool it will be after the beta stage.

We are the one who can make this community better. Try to make it better every day. Due to some stupid people who join this platform just for the sake of money and give shit content or copied one is wasting their time and ours too. I know many of us joined this platform for money even I joined this platform for its concept of rewarding but this doesn't mean we will post anything.

It is far better to get some reward instead of getting some likes for your valuable content. In today's world, nobody has enough time to waste on unnecessary things. But, Don't make this platform the next Facebook. We don't want to see steemit as the next place full with spam.

If we grow together, the community will grow too.

So Now let's move on to the reasons....

1. You expect too much.

"If you expect zero from this platform even 1$ will motivate you."

I know you have some expectations from the platform even I have. Having an expectation from the platform will help you to keep working on the platform but expecting too much from this platform is not fair.

If you have joined this platform just for the sake of money, believe me, you will not be able to earn. It will be excellent to make huge money from Steemit but expecting that your every post will make huge earnings just after joining the platform is not good.

Steemians rocking in this platform didn't expect like us because most of them joined in the early stage of Steemit when even 50 upvotes used to give 2$ or less.

No need to ask them I can tell their secret of Success.

And the secret is Hard Work. Hard Work always pays off.

2. You are trying to be someone else.

"Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it "-Bruce Lee

Being yourself is the key to your success. If Lamborghini's owner had copied Ferrari today Lamborghini would not have been there. Uniqueness is one of the main factors of every successful people have.

Same applies to this platform too. You have to be unique. If you are trying to be someone else just by watching someone's earning or the level of their success then you are in the wrong direction.

Try to find your true self, try to know who you are what you can do for the platform. Who knows you may be better than the One, you are trying to be.

One of the most popular reasons for failing in Steemit is providing copied content to the platform. This platform is strict about copied content. If you are changing your major topic of your posts just by watching the earning of that particular category of the post, then leave this platform.

Don't think your post will not be accepted by this community.
If your content is good, trust me this platform will reward you for sure.

3. You think your content is the best.

"Content Is KING"

Believing in your content is good but thinking your content is the best is not. If you think your content is gold but real you give crap content to your readers you will not earn a single penny, but you will lose some followers for sure.

Your content should have the potential to attract your readers.
Try to make your readers wait for your next post. Give everything you have in your post. Try to be creative. Try to find what your readers want from you.

No need to post 2-3 posts in a single day. Steemit is not Facebook that you will post after every single hour. It is ok if you need 2-3 days for a good article or a week, but that should be the best you can give.

Your every line has a role in your whole article. Even a single word can change the meaning of your complete post. And one more thing never try to fool your readers they are not dumb.

4. Using shortcut methods.

"If you take shortcuts, you get cut short."- Gary Busey

Shortcut may look like the best way to reach your goals, but it is not. I have seen many members of this platform using some cheap tricks to grow faster, but that will take them to nowhere.

Let me give some examples of their cheap tricks. Some newbie just after joining this platform try to be rich. But becoming rich is not like drinking a glass of water. It takes Hard work, dedication, sleepless nights then comes success.

One most common mistake of some steemians is asking for upvotes. Who will upvote your post if your post is shit. After failing to get some upvotes from the platform, they join some promotional groups. But let me tell you one harsh reality that they will only upvote you when you upvote them. And the most interesting part is that their upvote doesn't matter. Because the one whose upvote will give good reward will never upvote your post.

And one more trick of them is to copy others stuff. But this trick also fails like other tricks. If you ever get caught for your copied contents by STEEMCLEANERS, nobody can save you.

Always try to follow the path which will really open your success door. Never run from your work. If you run behind shortcuts, success will run away from you.

5. You are not persistent.

"Ambition is the path to success, persistence is the vehicle you arrive in"-William Eardley IV."

If you fail today, it doesn't mean you will fail tomorrow.
Just look at the top Steemians they never complained after failing that's why they are now rocking.

Some people join this platform thinking they will earn big from the beginning. And when they fail they just quit and blame the platform. Don't blame the platform. Ask yourself whether you have done what you should have done.

Always keep one thing in your mind. If you quit today, you will not see the results of tomorrow. If you want to see the results of tomorrow you have to work until tomorrow.

True..
But the problem i @godswill observed is that
valuable posts by a minnow makes no money, because the right guys refuse to vote and other minnows are just self minded, vote for vote. Steemians always run to opvOte the bigger guys.
We need to make us understand this, unity is power

It is not true, they vote. "They" really do. They will even follow you, if you have a really, really good content. Not just good, but really good. Because there's already too many good content out there. You have to stand out. They know how to spot one. We should start focusing on improving our own work, instead of comparing ourselves to other people, or being jealous of their success. This is the only thing that ruins good things. People.
