Enjoying a Great Night Out with Some Awesome Steemians
Yesterday, @ezzy and I attended the awesome "London Steemit Meet Up" organised by the one and only @redrica!
The chosen venue for the meet-up was at "Whole Food Markets" located in High Street Kensington. The ground floor and basement are the grocery store floors offering a selection of fresh and packaged foods for locals. On the 2nd floor, it is the food courts where all us Steemians managed to occupy a big table for the entire afternoon and evening without any disturbances, lol.
I am quite impressed with the neat canteen-style environment as well as having a good mix of high quality food including pizza by-the-slice, stir-fry, Ramen noodles, sushi, salad, pancakes and more. No matter what you are into, there will always be something tasty for you to select.
I had some "tofu dishes" mixed with aubergine and creamy mushrooms, whilst @ezzy opted for the "Mexican Pulled Pork Burito". We found both to be of excellent quality as well as a good price. Some interesting drinks were on offer too!
Of course, the best part of the meetup wasn’t the food, haha! I really missed chilling out with the awesome people from the Steemit platform after last years Steemfest 3. I didn’t expect so many people to turn up but it was so lovely catching up with old friends @nanzo-scoop, @susanlo, @steevc, @adetorrent and @ultravioletmag, as well as meeting new ones like @breadcentric, @dougalporteous, @inesafreedom, @teodora, @veritanuda, @wizzdom and @zoo1237!
Also a big shout out to @soyrosa coming all the way from Netherlands to be with us. What a great person filled with so much enthusiastic about life! I wish you all the best on the Steem blockchain endeavours!
The highlight of the night for me had got to be my “twin sister” @redrica’s wonderful enactment of myself with my hubby @ezzy. Check out the video by @dougalporteous, haha! But on a serious note, thanks so much to @redrica for organising such a fantastic meetup and creating such an awesome opportunity for all of us Steemians to spend the evening together!
