Dan = Hari Seldon? And What Is Our Current STEEMIT Crisis?!

I wrote a few days ago about my love for Asimov and Foundation.

Now let's have a little fun and explore the possibility that Dan is Hari Seldon. Could it be?!

Let's look at the parallels:

1. Both visionaries but also idealists.

Seldon look at the world and realized that it something new was needed to save it from itself but he also envisioned a better "new", where humanity would thrive to new levels.
Steemit come from the vision of a new social media based on new tech but also new ideals.
Think about it: Facebook started because Zuckerberg wanted to know who's cute in his college class. Steemit started as a mean to reward each voice.

2. They both push their visions and create something new that will eventually grow to be bigger than anything seen before but it is initially deployed as an innocent, harmless project.

Foundation started as a bunch of librarians completing an Encyclopedia on a planet far far away. But it was as the seed of new.
Dan already told us hat steemit is just a [trojan horse](

3. Both predicted how the evolution will go and provided solutions.

The succes of the Foundation was predestined in math. How about steemit?
I can't know for sure but giving the complex economic system in place, i'm sure a lot of math was involved.

4. They both couldn't do it without LOTS of help.

I don't know who but the team at steemitHQ is big and people must have worked hard for a really long time to get us here. I can't imagine how many sleepless nights everyone had since starting this. In many ways, Hari Seldon was a symbol of the work of many, many people [ and robots]. Just as we refer to Dan as the creator, he couldn't get here alone.

This checks out somewhat!

So, if that's true, what's our current Seldon crisis?

For those unfamiliar with "Foundation" - the Seldon crisis are inflexion points in the evolution of his project, where the people on Foundation will be faced with a crisis.
Seldon predicted,. using math and sociology [ a new science called psychohistory] when the crisis will come and how they'll be solved.

In fact, I'm gonna call them Steemit Crisis!

So what crisis did we have until now?

1. Internal strife [ Book 1: Steemit ]

This is the first crisis, naturally, the risk to self-destruct! Like many other crypto-entreprises, politics can ruin it before it gets going. But now there's peace and everyone is working together for a better steemit!
First Steemit crisis solved.

2. External attacks [ Book 2: Steemit and the hackers ]

When the things start going well, thieves will come. In our case, there was the Hacking incident.
A crisis that could have crippled steemit forever!! But the team worked around the clock and saved all the hacked account and steemit with it. We survived and we moved on.
The second Steemit crisis navigated with success.

3. Bots, spam and plagiarism! --> our current crisis [ Book 3: Steemit and the bots ]

WE see many new account plagiarizing content not only from the internet but also from steemit! The trending page si full of examples and possible solutions.
We deployed "cheetah" and the curators will flag and if anything goes on trending ti will be caught instantly. But, we're still in crisis of confidence over the future of steemit.

I hope this will be yet another Steemit crisis resolved and we can move on to the next one.

But what I see is this:

This crisis is solved not by steemiTEAM alone but by the users that already love this place too. They help and contribute a lot. This make me optimist not only that the crisis will be solved but also that the next ones, will be met with rapid solutions are our collective brain power come together.

And isn't this kind of how the foundation ends anyway, a solution beyond even the imagination of Hari Seldon himself?
