This Week in Upvote Bots #6

We've got some new bots this week and some changes to some old ones. First we are adding four new bots to the non bid bots list and two new bots to the bid bots list. Minnowbooster has entered an experimental phase where if you guess the exact amount they'll accept you can get a seriously good upvote and randowhale swims on in the top bot spot. Lets dive in shall we.




THE TOP BOT SPOT



@randowhale

For Several weeks in a row Randowhale has held the top spot on my upvote bot list and for good reason. His service is reasonably priced, consistent, dependable, and has a positive ROI on average. He seems to have gone back to waking up for a few minutes every couple of hours rather than for an hour or two twice a day. This makes him live up to being, well, Rando. Rando Sometimes leave an advert in your comment section.



The Curious Case of @minnowbooster

Last week Minnow booster was cruising along. They had settled in at a min send of 3SBD and a max send of 6SBD per post along with a max per day of 6SBD combined with a max per week of 20SBD. This seemed to be working. The bot was staying above 50% and people where getting there upvotes. So over course they left it alone.

Just kidding. They have been fooling around with the bots parameters since Friday and if you can guess one of the right amounts to send you can get a great upvote. I managed to get a 12+ SBD upvote for 6.5SBD and I saw another post that got 17+ SBD for an upvote. At one point the weekly limit was listed as 50SBD!

They are developing a new twist where they will be using third party accounts as filler to correctly match the amount upvoted to the amount sent. I hope they get it worked out soon so the service is reliable again. Minnowbooster will leave a goat picture advert in your comment section.




AUTOMATED SERVICES



Adding a new Section because these can have a bigger impact than some of the bots.



Steem Follower

Steem Follower is a third party website where you earn points for upvoting Steemit posts of other Steem Follower users. The amount of points you get is based on the size of the upvote and how much Steem Power you have. The good news for minnows is that the site gives minnows more points to help them out. When Steem Follower users upvote your post your points go down based on the size of the upvote you get. Here's the link: https://steemfollower.com/?r=4476



Steem Voter

You can set up an account and then choose users you want to automatically upvote. There is a fee for the premium service that lets you set more perimeters. If you don't have a slider yet, meaning you are under 500 Steem Power, I would say you would get far more use out of steem follower. As you grow your Steem power eventually mixing the two services may prove the most profitable.




NON-BID BOTS



The Big update at Steemthat.com

Steemthat used to operate two bots. @steemthat and @binkley. Binkley also being a person. To ease confusion and simplify things Binkley's original content coding is being added to the SteemThat bot and going forward that will be there only bot. Here's a post that has more detail:

@hardcorevoter

Is a new bot to the list this week. It has a min send of 0.005SBD and a max send of 0.015SBD and will upvote 2x your send. My trail use showed it worked fine. This bot will leave 4 adverts in your comment section!



@ninjawhale

Also new to the list this week is ninja whale. I think of this as the shotgun bot. You send it 0.40SBD and it upvotes you with 40 votes. This bot will not at this time give you a profitable ROI and they admit that upfront. It's about the votes. IF you combine this bot with Minnowbooster with it's vote trail along with randowhale when he has his trail during the first 5 minutes your post is up you will basically lock everyone out of getting curation rewards on that post. It's up to you to determine if that's a good thing. This bot did not post an advert in my comment section on my one trial usage.



@cleverbot

This bots been around for awhile but it had managed to allude inclusion in the list until now. You mention it and it upvotes your post or comment while making a somewhat clever comment. The upvote is worth about 0.02SBD. @cleverbot you are so clever.



@steemprice BTC

Another bot that is new to the list but has been around is Steem Price. You can call on him with just his @username to get the current price of steem or as I did above by adding BTC after that and get the price of Bitcoin. He will also upvote you for about 0.01 SBD.



@minnowpond

You will receive random upvotes for following this bot. It will leave an advert in your comment section when it does upvote you. It will also flood your feed with resteems. It offers premium upvotes for an additional charge.



@followforupvotes

This bot is the blue collar worker of bots. It just keeps on doing what it does. Follow the bot and it'll upvote you a max of once a day. This bot will leave an advert in your comment section.



@morwhale

Morwhale holding steady with 8 upvotes worth not much for .005SBD. Also offers a complicated scheme where you send 0.002SBD and receive a memo back about how big the upvote can be. You then send 40% the amount of the upvote. This bot leave one advert and several often non-nonsensical comments in your comment section.



@resteem.bot

Still the cheapest way to get resteemed and flood your feed. Send any amount 0.001SBD or more. This bot leaves an advert in your comment section.



@polsza

Polsza keeps purring along with the send 0.50SBD and get a slightly bigger upvote business model. Current voting power is at 35%.



@originalworks

Original works is still stamping its approval on works of originality all over Steemit whenever called. It was funny to see a post by moxxy bot upvoted by both cheetah and Original works. For those that don't know cheetah is a spam and plagiarism fighting bot that upvotes and leaves comments informing steamians that a post may be less than on the up and up.



@minnowsupport

So about minnow support. I guess they are still there. I haven't been able to get into PAL on Discord for a week. I always thought the way to get the upvote was a PITA and about 20% of the time the bot would say I can't up vote that right now anyway. So I'm not going to worry about that time suck-age and concentrate on making great content while using post promotion services that don't take up a lot of time.




BIDDING BOTS


The bottom end of the list picked up two new bots with the edition of upgoater and voter. Bellyrub lost some steempower and boomerang's crowd funding business model was able to break the 100k steem power barrier for the first time.
