RE: Resteem Bot, Version 2.0 "Banana" Dont't forget the point!
Hi @resteem.bot I sent - Transfer 0.100 SBD to resteem.bot - 18 hours ago with my URL in the memo and still no resteem. I have looked for you in steemchat to address this issue but couldn't find you. If you could let me know how long this bot takes I would appreciate it.
@raj808
Why does it take some time?
@resteem.bot is using a logarithm that is based on:
your location
language
time
tags
weather
Of course we can just use information that are available.
We don't want spam but the best results for the content of the user.
@resteem.bot
To be honest I think you could make it much more clear for your users than that explanation. For example, does the bot start to resteem posts it has verified using your logarithm once you have recharged your steem power to 100% or does it have a different criteria for when it starts resteeming? A lot of little minnows like myself have spent lots of time learning mechanism of how to maximize exposure to effect payout and try to evolve. From what I've learned it's a lot about timing, and it's very hard to try and estimate when a post is going to be resteem with your service without more details. Pls don't take this as criticism, it is a great service, just suggestions to make it easier for newbies to understand. Thanks
@resteem.bot is not clear with his explanation, because he is bullshitting you.
Let me (the one without a dot in his name) explain:
First - Logarithm is a math formula. Even if he uses one in his bot, it doesn't have anything to do with resteeming.
Second - His ALGOrithm depends on the weather? Why? Does his PC not work well when it rains?
Also... which weather does it depend on?
The one in Germany? The one in China? Mars, maybe?
Lastly - The reason he is slow is not his logarithm.
It is because he wrote a lazy script that activates less often than it should (or maybe even manually).
...
I can somehow imagine him going to the PC every day, and running the script himself (if it doesn't rain, of course)
