Great post Heidi! I appreciate the tips, especially the part about "that" not being needed. I read that in a book years ago - I don't even remember the title of the book but I remembered that "rule!" Look forward to reading about Portugal. Those pictures look amazing, especially the last one!
"That" is almost a lazy word, it's like a go-to choice that acts as a filler word, removing it is a good way to challenge your vocabulary! (even though I used it in this reply ;) )
