Poverty is a very bad thing, and unfortunately there are lots of poor people on the planet. Poverty is mainly caused by some sort of burden on the economy.
Think of Africa, it has all the resources you need, but people are still living in poverty because the endless wars, violence and strict government regulations. A poor person from there has virtually 0% chance of getting out of poverty... that is until they meet Steem.
