RE: "Fast Reply" : A New and Efficient Way to Comment!
Hi Lynn, hope today was a good day for Brian.
I normally wouldn't upvote this type of post as I run as fast as I can from this type of stuff (apps). But, you happened to be featured in this contest called payitforward, you may have heard of it. You were featured by @insideoutlet.
And for all that's holy, please dump this app asap if the platform begins dying.
Meanwhile, I will continue plugging away in slow reply typing away with one finger.
Hi @practicalthought! Brian is doing well today, thank you! I hope you are too :)
I saw the post from @insideoutlet; and yes, I know of the contest, seeing as I'm one of the judges haha
Let me tell you how I view this app because I know you're seeing it as an opportunity for disingenuous commenting. I get so distracted by everything on here, so this app allows to me to fully focus on my commenting and engaging...all very genuine. I'm able to place my concentration of those I'm speaking to and from the beginning, I've believed that genuine commenting is the most important aspect of this platform. I make hundreds+ comments/week, so to say that this app saves me time, does not mean that I'm taking a shortcut with the quality of my commenting. The people that I know here will treat it the same, but of course, there will be those that use it to take advantage, which they are already doing wherever possible. I'm choosing to see the good in the intention with which this app was built.
And this may sound silly, but I type about 120 words/minute, so the 20 second delay between commenting can really be a pain in my behind haha
Happy henpecking (typing I mean:), and thanks for making the exception with me and commenting :)
