Paradoxes.jpg

Ok, like most of you probably knows.. (well, at least those who already follow me and are well aware of my Delightful Cranky Sense Of Humor and also use to follow and read my trail of frankly raving babbling comments, articles, posts & shit on steemit.) ¡Yes! I am a relentless researcher mad scientist and an adamant questioner outcast who likes make crazy & unusual social experiments big time. }:)

Hey, hey, ¡HEEY! ¿What the hell I've already told you? There is nothing wrong with your browser dude. Do not attempt to adjust the picture!

¡We are controlling transmision! ¿Capisci?

¿Are you one of those who can not sleep after watching suspense and horror movies?

¡Awesome! then let's start the cliffhanger show. }:)

I suppose most of you already heard and know something about some collateral damages produced by Bots, Illiterate Curators, Blind Upvoters, some kind of Greedy Guilds and biased wannabe AI project developments & stuff going on in steemit. ¿Right?

Ok, here's riddle episode #1 to eat your nails:

With no intention to be judgemental, recently I stumbled upon with this new guy on steemit: @theywillkillyou. Yeeeh! look at this picture below and click on it to check his post.
His first introduceyourself post.
Uhmm 1.939 views, 267 comments and 719 Upvotes for $1,674.00 dolah$ in earnings for his 1st post. ¿Cool eh?

Ok, let's check this closer magnifying glass in hand. ¿Can we?

Ok, first of all, by the amount of views you might smell this guy Is Not a regular guy. ¿Right? ¡Good! OF COURSE he's not a regular guy, he's already kind of a celebrity on youtube with some sort of 841,000 subscribers on his YT channel. ¿Did you care to click on the image above to confirm that?
Oh! but that's not exactly what I want to dissect here right now. He may well be an already consecrated character online, but that still can't explain why and how the hell he was detected so quickly by the radar of steemit's High SP Curators & Whales to give away so loosely their strong votes to up his post till the thousands dolah$ heaven in almost no time.
¿Envy? Haha, ¡Nope! Not a single drop. On the contrary, very cheerful for him. But still something pesky is going on here. ¿Can you smell it? The question is not addressed to the minnows, but to the large mammals here on steemit. I hope you all biggies will shed some light about this riddle in the comments area of this post just as fast.

Enigmatic riddle episode #2:

"The One Post Only guy": Again, look at the picture below and click on it to check his post.
His first and only introduceyourself post.
In this case you will notice: 869 views, 257 comments and 477 Upvotes for $497.13 dolah$ in earnings for his 1st and only post 16 days ago. Also cool right? Well, we didn't hear anymore about this funny and in this case pretty unknown guy. He is not a celebrity like the previous guy. Well, at least he did not tell us so. And then, the steemit mammals also went frantically lavishing a shower of votes with a loose hand on this guy too.

Uhmm interesting. ¿doesn't it? ¿¿Could you pinpoint the reason why the radar of these mammals work so well and quick to detect these characters?

Ok, let's check again this closer magnifying glass in hand.

¿Any thoughts? tsk tsk.

Enigmatic riddle episode #3: An authentic Math Paradox:

Then, at last, you have this other guy @austrin16 whose short articles he has posted so far, each one of them always got beyond 2100 upvotes since the beginning and none of them reaching 20 views even and also most of them barely with a couple of comments on some and very few of them.
¿And the biggest mystery & paradox? Ha! ..despite of that thumping amount of votes almost all his posts are under $1.00 dolah earnings. ¿?¿
¿WHAT? Repeat that again!! ¿How the fuck you eat & swallow that? ¡Hooly Crap! Yeah! gotta check it.

¿Scared enough with these episodes? Ok, now go to sleep because dad's home.

And don't you dare look under your bed kid!!

Because a boogeyman with a hello kitty attire can jump over your pillow to sleep with you at anytime. };)

Looking forward for your comments Cetaceans. Cheers!! :)

"Giggles, Comments, Resteems & Upvotes will be highly appreciated"

Sort:

I suppose it all "depends" on a few things.

No. 1: Sometimes some of the "heavy hitting whales" on Steemit are the ones who also "recruit" some of the big names of social media (YouTube, Facebook, Instabram, etc.), so the moment those power players create their accounts, they almost immediately get upvotes and resteems from members with 100,000+ SP.

Which, in turn, puts them in "trending," after which lots of people go "Wow! Someone famous! I must follow them!" and then it's "off to the races" as they say.

No. 2: I expect he'll be back... he did write a very appealing intro that (I guess) caught a lot of people's eye... since he's sort of "out there" in the world of self-reliance, his contributions will probably be closer to those of long-time popular member @budgetbucketlist whose excellent and interesting posts are often a week (or more) apart.

No. 3: Large number of upvotes with little rewards suggests someone who looked at Steemit and had the idea that unleashing an army of bot voters would be the way to make a lot of money. Of course, he was wrong... they only earned him 50-70 cents a post for who knows HOW much work. How do I know? Because his posts always get about 2110-2140 upvotes... 2100 bot votes + the rest being variations from "real" people voting.

That's my story.... !

No. 1: Good analysis and theory totally valid mate. But it is still remarkable to breathe a strong air of suspense & mystery watching as the figures of each item (views, comments, upvotes & do$h) rose so fast on his first post.
No. 2: I agree with your appreciation and concur that he is actually a cool cat who wrote a very appealing and funny intro attracting and catching quickly great sympathy. I certainly was one of those who commented on his post and followed him right away with a certain euphoria of not feeling myself so alone in weirdo land anymore. :) I suspect, one of those lucky exceptions in this mystery movie.
No. 3: Yeah! indeed. Effectively the events of when he started his posts were 4 months ago. When it was too common to observe an epidemic avalanche of out-of-control bots upvoting everywhere, everything and every single crap all over around. Even me had a humble army of bots following & voting my posts with their heavy, strong and powerful 1% VESTS weight at the time. But in no measure close to have such an awful amount over 2200 bots behind. I actually doubt that so many bots have existed, were used or have been created at that moment.
As for his earnings, yeah, lotta things could have happened on the figures. Among many of them, he also could well have been heavily flagged, downvoted or banned for some reason. Since right now, curiously you can't find any statistical evidence on steemdb about the history log of the votes on his posts.

I suppose, most of the riddles still stands wrapped in some disturbing mystery. :D
