RE: ¿Paranormal Phenomena? Questioning usual paradigms will never be enough to save you to immerse yourself into deep paradoxes on steemit.

I suppose it all "depends" on a few things.

No. 1: Sometimes some of the "heavy hitting whales" on Steemit are the ones who also "recruit" some of the big names of social media (YouTube, Facebook, Instabram, etc.), so the moment those power players create their accounts, they almost immediately get upvotes and resteems from members with 100,000+ SP.

Which, in turn, puts them in "trending," after which lots of people go "Wow! Someone famous! I must follow them!" and then it's "off to the races" as they say.

No. 2: I expect he'll be back... he did write a very appealing intro that (I guess) caught a lot of people's eye... since he's sort of "out there" in the world of self-reliance, his contributions will probably be closer to those of long-time popular member @budgetbucketlist whose excellent and interesting posts are often a week (or more) apart.

No. 3: Large number of upvotes with little rewards suggests someone who looked at Steemit and had the idea that unleashing an army of bot voters would be the way to make a lot of money. Of course, he was wrong... they only earned him 50-70 cents a post for who knows HOW much work. How do I know? Because his posts always get about 2110-2140 upvotes... 2100 bot votes + the rest being variations from "real" people voting.

That's my story.... !

Sort:

No. 1: Good analysis and theory totally valid mate. But it is still remarkable to breathe a strong air of suspense & mystery watching as the figures of each item (views, comments, upvotes & do$h) rose so fast on his first post.
No. 2: I agree with your appreciation and concur that he is actually a cool cat who wrote a very appealing and funny intro attracting and catching quickly great sympathy. I certainly was one of those who commented on his post and followed him right away with a certain euphoria of not feeling myself so alone in weirdo land anymore. :) I suspect, one of those lucky exceptions in this mystery movie.
No. 3: Yeah! indeed. Effectively the events of when he started his posts were 4 months ago. When it was too common to observe an epidemic avalanche of out-of-control bots upvoting everywhere, everything and every single crap all over around. Even me had a humble army of bots following & voting my posts with their heavy, strong and powerful 1% VESTS weight at the time. But in no measure close to have such an awful amount over 2200 bots behind. I actually doubt that so many bots have existed, were used or have been created at that moment.
As for his earnings, yeah, lotta things could have happened on the figures. Among many of them, he also could well have been heavily flagged, downvoted or banned for some reason. Since right now, curiously you can't find any statistical evidence on steemdb about the history log of the votes on his posts.

I suppose, most of the riddles still stands wrapped in some disturbing mystery. :D
