There was this prophet who was ordered by the Lord to do certain things, like in the old testament. The things were impossible but terrified, the prophet obeyed and did them. There was no reward other than God kept telling him to do them and everyone despised the prophet. So, the prophet is sitting there after doing all these tasks which were impossible and he wondered about his situation which was really bad, physically messed up and no longer sure what was up or down and as he thought about his life and the things he had done he began to laugh. He laughed hard, he laughed deep, and he laughed long and it gave him courage enough to inquire of the Lord, why did you make me do all those tasks, all those things?

And the Lord responded, so you would finally laugh about it.
