Manifesto for a better social media - for steemitopia and fellow steemians (UPDATE)

In light of recent events, in particular the one raised in the post by @stellabelle here:

I want to propose some ideals with which we can use to create a general guideline for ethical behaviour on steemit.

We are uncovering better ways of improving society by
posting on Steemit and helping others do it.
Through this work we have come to value:

Individuals and interactions over bots and wallets
Giving and sharing with others over adding to your own account
Purposeful collaboration over contests and competitions
Increase content value over Steem price value

That is, while there is value in the items on the right,
we value the items on the left more.
