It would make sense for Steemit to grab a stake in EOS. EOS is Microsoft Windos and Steemit is Microsoft Word. It will a lot easier for someone to create a Steemit competitor on EOS so Steemit should get there first. Write now Steemit has an advantage because it shares some most of the tech EOS is built with so porting it over or having run parallel shouldn't be to difficult relative speaking.
You took all the words I had in my head and said it better :) I couldn't agree more. Planning to migrate is an absolute must. I hope Steemit.inc are on board with the idea.
