The U.S Should not Disadvantage emerging Tech like Block chain" says U.S telecom authority chairman in an interview with an Indian news daily news outlet called the Indian Express on 26th October,During the Indian Mobile Congress.The U.S Federal Communications Commission (FCC)Called a conversation With Tech giants such as Google and Facebook regarding about "Data Transparency".In the U.S Regulations governing telecoms first became law in the 1930's.and with amendments caused difficulties for the authorities to grips on Technology such as Artificial Intelligence,machine learning and blockchain.
“These are very dynamic industries and one can foresee in coming decades – things like artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, quantum computing will have significant impact on how communications networks operate,”He Said while continuing .
“We don’t have jurisdiction over these firms but that’s one of the thing we are trying to learn about. What are the emerging technologies that will have an effect on this space and how should our thinking about regulation evolve.”
While a study this year said that blockchain in telecoms would become a Billion dollar industry by 2023.
