While of course it is an absolutely awful situation for the people of Venezuela to have to go through, it does offer us a glimpse into maybe how the rest of the world would react to a massive economic catastrophe, and its extremely interesting to see how cryptocurrencies and blockchains help to pick up the slack and help rebuild or at least retain what little economy is left within in the country. Hopefully in the next coming years their economy can start shifting back to normal, but at least one positive that can be taken from this is its a catalyst that has opened up the world of crypto to a whole nation out of necessity
