Ok lets start with the statistics, according to KPCB's report,an average adult spends about 5.9hrs a day online. What! Yes people spend alot of time. Now ask yourself how much you think you spend online in a day.People spend time online daily,which means good business. Now here are the reasons why you should start a social media business account. But then some of you miggt say "but i don't have a business". Well it doesn't matter,select a niche you are interested in and start growing it.Because everyday the competition increases which means everything becomes more difficult.

Years back people didn't really care about a video's quality,they just wanted to stream a video.But then as the competition became higher,video quality increased from 240p to 1080p. Why? Because each Youtuber wanted/wants to appear better than the other.And if you do your research well, you would find out that these gears used in increasing their quality costs lots of money.So what am i saying,the competition is going to forever increase, now is the best time to give mediocre service because later nobody would care about the small fishes(start ups). Since the online world is growing bigger every day, it is a perfect place to get that publicity for your business.Through Social Media we get to come across products that are thousands of miles away and get to see and purchase some for ourselves. Social Media can bring you customers for your business that you would not have been able to meet.I don't know about you but i do alot of online shopping and i buy products from other continents that on a normal day i would not come across. Social Media can give your business the attention it needs for you to make massive sales. I know someone who makes shoes,but could not get customers,but after our Social Media marketing class, the person has made massive sales and closed up his rented shop and only has his workshop for making his shoes.
