Feature Request/Suggestion: Steemit needs Seperate NSFW, PORN, CAMGIRL, CAMGUY, CAMTG Tags to allow people to find they content they are seeking without having to see content they don't want or find offensive.
After looking around and seeing the NSFW tag is now mostly hardcore pirated porn of all kinds and knowing there are also photographers and artists that do produce their own art that has nudity in it (such as myself), but it's no where near hardcore porn and there are also solo camgirls that are on here producing their own content and being lumped in with all of the other stuff, it's not helping them or the people looking for their kinds of content.
I think we need separate tags at this point. I'm not saying that one post could not be in multiple categories if they apply, because it could, but there is definitely a difference between art, softcore, explicit nudity and hardcore sex/porn and they should be labeled as such and separated.
We can create our own tags now but what needs to be done is Steemit needs to recognize the new additional Tags like it does the NSFW Tag Now.
Right now if you go to NSFW you might as well be on PornHub or the Xrated Side of Tumblr which it seems most of the images are being taken from.
Preferably I'd like to see several new Tags:
nsfw
nsfw-art
nsfw-writing
porn
porn-gay
porn-tg
porn-lesbian
camgirls
camguys
camtg
camcouples
The reason for this is I don't think a person should have to wade through hardcore porn, to see nude art. I also don't think if a person is looking for straight porn or gay porn that they should have to wade through posts of what they don't want to see.
And I also don't think that a person who wrote an erotic story or say a educational post that is also NSFW should have to be lumped into a section filled with hardcore porn. I have nothing against porn, but I think it needs to be better organized and separated so that people that don't want to see that don't have to and those that do can find exactly what they are looking for.
I would love to see this put into the effect as I think it would create the separation needed as long as people tag properly.

If all the features are complete in steemit, then others are lagging far behind. My brother's good demand, we also hope that this steemit becomes a place to eliminate unemployment. And now it's happened. But not maximized.

Being able to filter posts using multiple tags would be more useful and more appealing to the developers.
Making special considerations for other NSFW tags would be a poor development path as the number of tags to consider could become endless. Google for example also has only 3 filter settings: strict, moderate and no filtering.
Instead of the generic #art, you should be using #nsfw-art in addition to the mandatory (#nsfw) so that fans of your type of work can use #nsfw-art to filter posts for what is relevant to them. You will lose out on the random exposure you would get from #art but in the end you will have to decide which is better for you.
Also if #nsfw-art is abused, flagging/downvoting is always an option.
That is a consideration I had not thought of with new less use terms your exposure would plummet and post promotion would be a waste of money. If it was mandated by seem like NSFW is it would force people into that category and people would be forced to look for it I think and there is always a percentage of people that search for porn on any search anywhere...lol So you get those also.
But I still thing we need a PORN at the bare minimum to separate it and NSFW as mentioned in my post. So I think it wold be good for the Porn posters more than anyone else traffic wise.

Additionally you could ask the developers not to consider (#nsfw) as part of the 5 allowed tags as it is mandatory so that you are not limited to only 4 other tags but have 5 non-mandatory tags like everybody else.
Also tag #steemdev when making feature requests.

I understand that the 2 filter settings currently available is not working out for you. Even Google, as I said before, has 3 filter settings.
The problem is porn is a strong word that people tend to avoid in public while nsfw is more user friendly.
This can be solved by mandating (#nsfw) for hardcore posts while mandating something else for softcore posts. Something like #s-nsfw where the s could stand for slightly or softcore. This way you will be able to filter to softcore only or hardcore only, but only for new posts made after the introduction of the new mandatory tag, #s-nsfw.
One of several problems is defining "hardcore" vs "softcore". At least with any sort of general agreement. "What body parts show" certainly isn't a basis for what is porn. And "artistic merit" is a hopeless path, as a practical matter.
For the moment, I'm simply appreciating that I can share my NSFW art, although as I become more aware and active, I'm sure I will have concerns, frustrations, and even perhaps contributions.
Steemians will define "hardcore" vs "softcore" by how they vote/flag.
If a post is tagged as softcore but the audience see it as hardcore, the post will be flagged.
Post authors will eventually learn where the line is by monitoring the flagging.
Unfortunately, some people will be offended by almost anything, and a portion of them seek out situations to object to. So, while the reasoning works in principle, there simply isn't enough objective data available to anyone who doesn't get hundreds of views on a given post in the first week. I have that kind of audience elsewhere, but certainly not here.
Keep posting, keep interacting with other users and your audience will grow large enough for you to learn what works and what doesn't.
On this platform, there is no censorship by the stubborn minority as there is in the mainstream platforms. Here what counts is numbers, reputation and money.
Money is nice, but I can wait on that. It is hard to have a set I spent half an hour putting together get three responses, when one image gets 200 "favorites" in a day on Flickr. But I have 10 years of building invested there.

Id like a feature that gives the ability to block tags/topics. Also to be able to follow tags/topics (assuming its not already in place snd i hsvent found it)
