Can one vote twice on a post? Or Is It a Bug?
I have noticed that some of my posts are getting voted on twice by the same person! Maybe this is a bug which manifests when voted by voting guilds (which are welcome, by the way) but I have noticed that my payouts drop sharply when it happens.

For example, one of my posts had been voted upon by the accounts of @smooth and @smooth.witness but after sometime I had a trail of new votes including, once more, the ones mentioned.
I would have had no problems with the extra votes, but my payout decreased by more than half when it happened. My payout when the first "wave" of votes were cast was $2.63, but after the second "wave" my payout decreased to $1.10, which is where it is right now.
All the transactions can be seen in my steemd page, but I was wondering if anyone else has faced the same situation.
If yes, then please let me know in the comments and I hope @dan has a look at it too, as it would not have been a problem if the payouts were not affected. But since it does, I feel it merits an investigation.

very interesting bug ....... I have never experienced about it ...... you may open an issue on steemit's Github page.

Hey! I am currently on my phone so can't check steemd or more into it right now. (Laggy phone) but I remembered voting on your post earlier and I have smooth trailing my curation. If the case is that he himself or someone else he follows with his votes has voted it with a higher % before me without me noticing it before I casted my vote, then it might have recasted his after and turned it into a smaller % accidentally. I'll check it first thing tomorrow and try and make up for the missing difference. :)
This has happened a couple times before and also removes smooths chance at curation rewards for said post. Apologize for the inconvenience :)
Thank you for the quick reply. I have noticed this happening on my earlier posts too but waited before I raised this issue.
Also checking steemd, I noticed that the earlier vote by the account was at 50% and the latter is at 21%.

Wow. That's a scary bug. Hope it gets squashed.
