New York-Based French Designer Refuses to Dress Melania Trump!
A New York based designer, Sophie Theallet, has refused to dress the new FLOTUS, Melania Trump! She also wrote an open letter which she put up on twitter which reads in part:
“As one who celebrates and strives for diversity, individual freedom and respect for all lifestyles, I will not participate in dressing or associating in any way with the next first lady,”
“The rhetoric of racism, sexism and xenophobia unleashed by her husband’s presidential campaign are incompatible with the shared values we live by.”

The designer who is a regular on the Fashion week circuit in New York, is known to have dressed up the present first lady, Michelle Obama, who created additional publicity of her brand.
Theallet, 52, said
“She has contributed to having our name recognized and respected worldwide,”
But her open letter has created a storm on social networks where most of the criticism seems to dismiss her claims, and are mostly negative.

I'm starting to see it too. I getting to the point where I have to look at a dozen different sources to come up with a conclusion and still have to ponder what the real agenda is.
