One thing that is very important for the growth of steem is that everyone is enjoying the platform. And with everyone I mean primarily those that do not have lots of followers or SP to automatically attract upvotes and reward.

What i'm really going to say today might really get some people upset and angry, but the fact is the truth hurts and the truth must be told if we ever want things to get right. And after this you might decide never to support me anymore but i have to say my mind because i want this community to grow bigger.

A lot of people on this platform have the ability and capacity to make others grow but they don't just want to do it, i believe one of the reasons they don't help is because they don't want you to be like them. People always want to be ontop so that you will always see them as a king or queen and you'll always come to them for help.

This platform is not growing faster the way it should because a lot of newbies seems to dump their account after some month without achieving anything. I know how much i spend on internet just to keep my account busy. Even when i don't earn at times i still push it why because i can afford it. But they are lot's of people out there who can't afford this data like some us, so after using the peanut they had to get internet service to log onto steemit, and they do this for months and all they get is nothing because those who are supposed to help them grow just refused doing this. And at the end what happen?, they dump the account.

I know it's not anybody's business if you upvote, resteem or not, it's your steem power and we don't know how you got it so it shouldn't be our business. But everyday we talk about how we can make steemit grow bigger than how it is right now, and how can we make it grow if we can't help that little guy that just joined to grow?. There is no way you will gladly continue doing something that doesn't benefits you after spending so much time, energy and money. This little guy will just give up because he doesn't see it to be interesting.

It's not a must you give a 100 percent vote, they're options which you can reduce your voting power to vote, just show some appreciation. Sometimes it's not really about the money but the feeling this persons get when droping a post and no one even seems to upvote, it's so discouraging and it affect the mindset psychologically. It doesn't cost you anything to do this things, 2 or 3 sbd you give out can be a life saver to someone.

This post is an example of what i'm talking about. I went through this post and it was making a whole lot of sense, and i wonder why wasn't it being upvoted? are we not supposed to upvote the good contents?..
If you do this then you are totally discouring the person because after putting in so much effort and got no like, then there is no point to keep working hard. The "little guy" would be just desperate and not motivated anymore to use the platform
But if you encourage it with your upvote then you are empowering the community by doing that.

And for the newbies too yes it is not easy to grow up here but if you publish good content, you will attract the good people. Not necessarily the "whales" but quality people.

The other day i saw a post about Ned taking back the delegated steem power he gave out to some people. If he didn't see the need of you helping that little guy to grow then he wouldn't have delegated those steem power. He only did that to help you and for you to help others grow, so for you not using it properly as you should then he had no choice than to take it back.

As it stands my vote doesn't give anything but i learn to upvote any good post i come across, i'm doing this to show encouragement to the person, because it's always a thing of joy that someone like what you posted. And i'm also training myself so that when i become that big person it won't be hard for me to upvote.

I can't help but to mention this great people who has done a great job here on this platform, they've really been a good example and it shows how much they want this community to grow. @surpassinggoogle @dragonslayer109 @nairadaddy @daudimitch @ogochukwu @xtrodinarypilot @ehiboss @destinysaid @beanz @curie @hendrikdegrote @gbenga @pharesim @knircky @lordoftruth @lichtblick. I want to say i really appreciate you guys for your effort and everything you've been doing for the community. I wish others can learn from you.

PLEASE IF WE WANT THIS COMMUNITY TO GROW THEN LET'S LEARN TO SUPPORT OTHERS...
