SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW FEATURES ON STEEMIT
Hi Steemitians,
I think we really need the following features on Steemit to help enhance our experience here:
A Notifications icon to inform us when we receive new followers, replies on blogs and comments, and for upvotes/downvotes etc.
A better flagging/downvoting system: if I see a post with incorrect tags, I should be able to flag it as such. If on the other hand, I see a post with racist tones etc., that should be flagged separately and more "strongly."
A "suggest edits" option to suggest edits to the blogs/posts of others. I regularly use this feature on Quora, and it helps improve the quality of posts overall. On Steemit, there are many whose native tongue isn't English. I'd like to help them, but there isn't a clear way to do so right now. If the person approves of our suggested edits, he can thank us by giving steem equivalent to an upvote. This would help incentivising everyone to participate in improving the blog content on this website.
These are the 3 features I would love to see incorporated on here. If you can think of others, let me know in the comments!

Yes great ideas! Especially number three I would welcome. I am not a native English speaker and although I can use a spellingchecker I think I sometimes arrange my sentences the wrong way around. Also maybe an additional idea for number 1 is a seperate list with people who follow you since that day. So you can easier find them to see if you want to follow them back.

I'm not sure what you mean by "list of people who follow you"... You can see who follows you by clicking on your profile followed by clicking on "xyz followers"
Yes indeed. I mean it a bit different. I am curious about the people who decide to follow me. So everytime my number of followers is up I see if I can find them. While the list becomes longer it is harder to find them. They probably decide to follow me for a reason so maybe there is shared interest. I thought maybe a list of people who decided to follow you that day? Or maybe a different color?

I think so too. I have no idea about the technical implications, it all seems difficult to me.
yeah i'm not tech savvy either lol... just a hunch that it'd be tricky...
