**Proposal** Steemit Sponsor Program

Recently I read a post by Author @ltndd1 , this post discussed his thoughts and opinions of what he felt was wrong with Steemit and how he feels we can fix this. After thinking about it and looking at the sections he suggested such as Promoted, Popular and even the home screen, I also noticed most of the posts with significant value or even a good chunk we by those he stated, with reps of 60 plus.

My Proposal

Maybe taking away the voting power or the amount of percent used towards voting might be a little harsh. How about a Mentor or Sponsorship type program, where a Whale can choose a specific Author he or she feels has great content and they can then vote, even if its 1 percent, but they also repost their article or post so that other big guys who follow them can and will read the posts. This would help distribution by putting your posts in front of those who have the power to boost you if they see fit.

The Whales of course do not need to do this to every post that Authors puts up, but only the ones they see is worthy of being broadcast to the higher class.
