The Crypto market was at an all time high In December 2017 reaching about $749,000,009,888 as you can see from the graph below now its just more than halfed and sits at $393,478,209,888
Now the questions is why has this happened in the past three months. Well a large percentage of owners of the coins back in December 20017 have turned there coins back into USD closing there positions in the Crypto markets and taking the USD
Why have they done this the situation of the coins and the projects are still the same its just three months later
In my view it would appear like all markets Human Emotion play's a large part in the price
Confidence in the Market
Its been very much shown that the media and governments have come out to knock the confidence out of the market and this is what has happened
Released stories about bans and regulation in the world creating fear and driving down the market
Saying its all a scam and not to invest in the Crypto Market
Fear is a powerful tool and the media and government use to control and regulated the masses
This is what has happened of the past three months and it has would in the short term to drive the customer of the market.
Will this tactic win in the long term the answer is No
The Value of the Crypto Currency will mean that money will come back into the market and it will become harder to drive people out of it with Fear because of the real value that is being created in the marketplace
Sending money worldwide with no fees independent of states and with it impossible to counterfeit
Has a value only the people currently owning Crypto understand.
So I say Do Not Worry The price has come down but the truth is still the same the value is there its just the general population don see it yet and have not started coming in there millions.

Excellent publication really friend that I like all your publications because they are like this, informative, educational and original information. With respect to the subject I would say that with what I have learned with your posts because as I had told you in an opportunity that did not have much knowledge about these issues of the coins, that you are absolutely right the crypto price has dropped in the latter days let's say a little but in the end it's still the same, because the people who have many cripto do not affecta this download, but at least someone who has little and is just beginning in this world, this downgrade that although It is not so relative, it will feel like you are losing, and it is as you say it is something that only those who possess a lot of crypto will understand. If under that same amount is still there only that they have not seen it well and do not really know that there are the big millions. I am sure that this post will serve as a big boost to many other people, my friend, really thanks for the post, more and more I am learning about this, growing in this world little by little of the coin. Don't worry about the Crypto Prices Specially for stee. Steemit is a great project & many investors are coming to invest on this platform.
There is only 1 problem right now which is the new account creation process which is taking too long.
Many people wants to join this platform but they are waiting for even months for their account. They are not getting a confirmation email from steemit. If they (steemit) can manage to find the solution for new accounts & this platform will get success in Months & Many Investors will come and invest in this platform. And then you will see the price of steem will rise again.
So, Don't worry about the Crypto prices & invest only in reall time projects which will ive you profit in future even though market will be down.
Just like me, I Invested in Tron & doge coin. I bought Doge coins when the price was only 10 satoshi & bought TRON when the price of 1 tron was $0.02. I am still in profit from these coins.
You just have to do your research before investing in any of the coin. I would suggest you to invest in steem if you really have some money (Invest the Money which you can afford to lose). And I know you will thanks me later after 1 or 2 years.
Because Steemit is growing day by day. It got ranked in Top 1000 sites in the wolrd & soon It will comes to the top 500 sites list. What I am seeing that it if steemit will improve some features like signup process & Chat option then in 1 year We can expect it to come in Top 100 Sites list in the world.

Let me tell you about my Story in Crypto. I was new and I don't know about Crypto a lot. Many people were telling me & suggesting me to invest in Ripple. I was also following some Gurus & Mnay Gurus were giving warnings to Invest in Ripple.
I Ignore the instructions from those gurus & Invested in Ripple. I thought It was a great project. But I was wrong. Always do your research before investing and you will never be in loss even the Crypto Market will down.

When I saw the way the market was running like a wild fire between October and December last year, I knew this will happen sooner or later. Governments and banks can't just sit and watch people plunge cash into something beyond their control and regulations. So them pumped in stories to create fear in the people.
But those who will be strong enough to hold will absolutely have joy at the end of the day.
Some Cryptocurrency died, like Bitconnect.
In 2015, 2016, 2017 market capitalization dropped down In first months of the year:) Maybe people need money, at the beginning of the year?, Chinese new year is 16 Februrary. Also like you said "released rumors about cryptocurrency ban", I think it was in China. And their part in the crypto market is big:)
