This is a good idea, but I could possibly seeing people abuse it though. What is stopping someone from upvoteing a second account of theirs or a friends?
Yeah but what is stopping a regular whale from up voting their friends right now too? It goes both ways there are always going to be people who abuse the system. I am sure some people only upvote their friends in the existing system as well. This is just to create a frenzie for everyone and give everyone a chance to be a whale! It would not go past $45 or $48 dollars worth of SBD and SP combined in rewards. It is to create revenue and make it fun for everyone!
I see your logic and agree any influx of cash be good because I would do it!
