I fully understand your concern and I'm not a fan of the current system myself.
I would love to be able to actually split my content into the serious stuff( blog on steemit) and the more personal, spare-time stuff like zappl and don't get everything mixed up on one site without any good means to filter it out for my visitors.
Please make it happen steemit!
That would be a massive UX upgrade and a massive selling point - The all-in-one Social media account that pays you.
I mean that's the point of this whole thing, to be an actual alternative to all the big social media sites. And with the rewards there is an incentive to make good content and interact in a positive way for everyone :)
And I think this has massive potential if applied correctly.
