Trying To Find Your Niche On Steem Might Not Be Easy But The Journey Is Always Great!!!!
Steemin' Ain't Easy But It Sure Is Fun!!!!
I remember making my very first post back in May of last year. Let me tell you I was pretty pumped about being able to potentially earn from posting on the internet. As soon as I saw my first post reach 50 cents I was besides myself!!!!! No lie from that moment on I began to really delve into Steemit Hardcore. There wasn't a soul that I didn't talk to about Steemit. It became an uncontrollable good obsession (At least in my eyes it was good).
After the first seven days of me stackin' SBD I had a nice amount and it proved to my closest friends that what I was saying was true. To me it was a dream come true. Now I knew this wasn't gonna make me rich but to me...300 bucks in a week off the internet is hallelujah great!!!!! So you already know I went nuts for real....in a good way. After being on here for a while I've begun to know that there is something great here. We are in no way perfect or ready for the world yet. Steemit is still young and we must take advantage of being here before the cavalry. HF20 is poised to open up the floodgates and bring in the masses but what if a mogul signed on to Steemit like hmmm I don't know Beyonce. That could bring thousands upon thousands of people running to sign up. I didn't fully understand this when I first started and I was desperate to fit in a niche and find where I should post. But in reality I was waisting my time because the answer was in front of me the whole time.
What value do you bring to the Steem ecosystem?
I'm pretty sure many of you have been asked this question or even asked yourselves. I have heard many different answers but in reality most of the answers were wrong in my opinion. Diamonds are worth money because they are rare and hard to mine out of the earth. So they are valuable and worth money. Of course there is a dirty game played behind the scenes to keep the price high blah blah blah. The point is that us as humans are each extremely unique. No two people on earth are alike even identical twins have different fingerprints etc etc. We each posses what I believe to be, the most powerful thing on the planet our Brain. That's the value that you bring to this wonderful eco-system your BRAIN!!!! So when I am asked what value do I bring I tell them ME!!!!
YOU are your niche!!!!
Don't waste your time trying to find the perfect spot for yourself on Steemit. Just be yourself and post whatever it is your brain feels like posting. We all have different things that we love and care about so why restrict yourself to one thing. Go all out and just roll with the punches. This is a place where you can voice your thoughts and opinions on anything and make a little something doing it. Nobody in the world sees it the way you do. This is your chance to show us how you see it. When the cavalry comes I believe we will all be in a position to really help people all over the world. Keep your head in the games and stay motivated. Life isn't easy and neither is Steem. Just play the hand your are dealt and make the best of your situation. There is no time for complaining and comparing yourselves. Just go out and do it. Don't look back with regret and wish you would have ar least earned that 1 Steem a day. Because one day the price will not be anywhere near what it is today.
Ten years from now when Steemit has one billion users how much do you think the price will be?
Me personally I'm gonna have to say 164 bucks. HaHaHa don't shoot me...lol....this is just pure speculation. The price could be ten times this amount or ten times less. Let me know in the comments what you think the price will be?

I feel at peace reading this @mriquez. I spent some time with my partner discussing what we could launch on DTube. Then I thought about making it fit into some sort of expected niche, but I've been liberated from that now. Thank you stunner.

You must use your username to log in and use your posting key which is found on your steemit wallet when you click "permission" next to "balance"..

That's exactly my opinion too, be who you are, post what you want. My posts go from left to the right, up and down, whith all kind of messages, subjects... But that's me, I like and love a lot and like to write about it... Pick out the cherries , and leave the rest for the others :) Have a great day !!!

Man, I pumped out post after post for 3 months before making even 0.01 steem. So those who are feeling the pain of being new and growing...hang in there!
First of All I think price of Steem is now minimum about 20USD but its still low as it have a great users in this small time but Hope it will go up more

Yes everyone's experience is different and we must never give up or lose motivation!!!
Surely Steemit is exciting but we must also be very critical about a lot of negative things and fix them so the billion users will not be just a chimera.

Great post brother and thanks for the motivating words. Yes it si a journey and it needs to be one where you find your niche (you as you said), and get comfortable with your voice while you fine tune it. If you look at it as a journey with multiple rewards including financial then you can have fund and grow. I am willing to take the ride and see and have some fun and learn and meet some interesting people too. First post of yours I have seen and I am following. Keep up the great work.

10 years is a lot dude! at the pace the tecnology is evolving I would not bet Steem will survive...mainly because there are other projects willing to compete with...and one is being developed by the very same steem creator on top of EOS blockchain...
Nevertheless, I fully believe that steem can easily reach 25 USD in not so long (maybe a year or so)
