Well, it's proven that competition causes the competitors to do better. You can bet your bippy that Steemit is making adjustments and changes to the platform that will make it competitive. However, humans... it will be the same old story, just like what we saw in network marketing: the hordes will always go to "greener grass". Here in Nevada in the early days of mining it was always the next new strike that created an exodus from the last strike. I suspect it will be the same here. And there will be plenty who will try and play in both chains. It will certainly be interesting, no doubt. Oh, and I thought I saw just a couple of days ago that votebots account for about 10% of voting. Can't recall where I saw it. Blessings.
Well, we just have to wait and see just how cool this new platform is going to be... however, no matter what cool, it will have to really be something else to surprise us Steemians.
Yes, indeed all eyes will be on the new and improved version of Steemit 2.0. I hope the tectonic plates beneath Steemit don't shift to terribly. We shall see. Steemit has already captured my heart you see.
Well, it will definitely be a competitor, but I don't think it is going to render this one obsolete... we'll see.
I imagine this entire thing will be the talk of the community for the next few months or more. Ah, the vicissitudes of life. What shall we do?
