Steemcleaners are unfortunately a major downfall of Steemit

I hate to complain YET AGAIN about Steemit bots, but they really do piss me off. Once again we have had a post FALSELY downvoted and hidden because of the pathetic @steemcleaners spam detection algorithm.
Considering Steemit prides itself on it's NON-CENSORSHIP, with many Steemit advocates condemning Facebook for it's censorship while portraying Steemit as some kind of free market for speech it is laughable that so far since using Steemit we have had 10x more false and inaccurate spam and plagiarism claims on our work than any other social media platform.
This is quite pathetic. Decentralized it maybe, but PLAGUED by poorly coded bots soon destroys any kind of positive use case a decentralized social network is going to have .

Yep, your right, that's even more of an issue. Unfortunately when you take out a central form of control and form a decentralized system of control we appear ti end up with lots of stupid humans competing against each other motivated by greed and self importance.
We are the test. It better it now then when the masses arrive. There are other steem like platform coming which will bring competition

I believe the 'stupid human' problem can be solved without having to centralize any given system though, decentralization is the answer, it's just steemit isn't quite there yet .
The flagging wars harm all and they are absolutely ridiculous...
Weeding out scams and plagiarism is all well and good, but it needs to be done effectively or the growth we could see in 2018 will be derailed as people get pissed off and leave.
