Very astute observations! In the end, I don't think it will be too much of a problem. A person can vote themselves full power everyday all day and their voting power will drop like a rock. Call it the brakes! Then they give themselves less and less ... so it's probably best for everyone to dial it down both on themselves and others, and reserve those big votes for the important posts and comments!
