I'm still learning the details of Steem here, can you tell me what is significant about vest value? And how it's calculated? Thank you
britt.the.ish Steem Power is basically Steem held in a fund. Vests are Shares in that fund.
Today 1 MV = 1M VESTS = 470.30 STEEM x Steem price $1.49 = Vest value $700.74 . Keep in mind that the # of Steem ,Steem price, and the $ value of a vest change every day . Here's an example of the value of all 3 on October 6 , 2016
1 MV = 1M VESTS = 369.392 STEEM X Steem price $0.41 = Vest value $151.820
And that is about all I know about the vests
